1-174-2020-21/DSSL/Vol.II/32965 Date : 23-Sep-2026 In the Government Notification No. 1-174-2020-21/DSSL/Vol.II/32727, dated 18th-August, 2026, published in the Official Gazette (Extraordinary), Series I No. 20 dated 19th August, 2026, on page No. 1049, the expression "(4th Saturday)", wherever it occurs, shall be read as "(3rd Saturday)".

D.TPT/STA/2375-III/2019/3047 Date : 25-Sep-2026 In pursuance of the powers conferred under Section 67(1) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central Act 59 of 1988), and in supersession of Government Notification No. D.Tpt/STA/2375-111/2019/2038 dated 4th August, 2021 published in the Official Gazette, Series I No. 19 dated 5th August, 2021, the State Transport Authority, Goa, hereby fixes the revised distance slab-based fares chargeable by the operators of "Yellow/Black Taxis" for hire in the State of Goa, namely:—

1. The rates at Column No. 4 to 6 applies to round journey.
2. The above fares are exclusive of Service Tax.
3. In case passengers desire to avail the vehicle on sharing basis, the figures in Column 6 should be divided by the capacity of the vehicle so as to arrive at per passenger cost.

5. The permit holders shall display fares at a prominent place in their vehicles.
This notification shall come in to force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

Note:
1. The above rates are for self employed Tourist Taxi Operators attached to Beach and Star Hotels.
OFFICIAL GAZETTE — GOVT. OF GOA SERIES I No. 26 (EXTRAORDINARY) 25TH SEPTEMBER, 20262. The Tourist Taxi fare rate in Column (4) to (6) applies to round trip journey.
3. Taxi utilized for Night Journey after 11 p.m. till 5 a.m. will attract night charges of Rs. 100/- per hour.
4. Taxi utilized after 11 p.m. till 5.00 a.m. will be charged 35% on the above tariff.
5. All tolls, ferry charges, taxes if applicable and parking fees to be paid by the hirer/customer.
6. In case passengers desire to avail the vehicle on sharing basis, the figures in Column (4) and (5) should be divided by the capacity of the vehicle so as to arrive at per passenger cost.
7. If any vehicle of capacity, make and model is not covered in this list, the permit holder shall apply to STA for fixing the fares and updating the list.
