And whereas, in terms of sub-rule (1) of rule 4 of the Goa Town and Country Planning (Change of zone of land in the Regional Plan or the Outline Development Plan) Rules, 2024 (hereinafter referred to as the "said Rules"), the Town and Country Planning Department, after scrutinizing the said Proposals, had placed such proposals alongwith it's scrutiny reports before the Goa Town and Country Planning Board for its recommendation/approval/decision;
And whereas, the Goa Town and Country Planning Board in it's 231st Meeting held on 21-04-2026, has approved the said proposals as specified in above table; Now, therefore, as required by sub-rule (2) of rule 4 of the said Rules, a notice is hereby given to the public that the Goa Town and Country Planning Board in it's 231st Meeting held on 21-04-2026, has approved the said proposals for change of zones, in respect of the plots of land as specified in above table, which were placed before it under sub-rule (1) of rule 4 of the said Rules and suggestions are hereby invited from the public within a period of thirty days from the date of publication to this Notification in the Official Gazette.
All the proposals as specified in the above table are available for the purpose of inspection in the Regional Plan Cell, Office of Tiswadi Taluka, Town and Country Planning Department, Kamat Tower, 5th Floor, Patto, Panaji-Goa.
Suggestions, if any, to the said proposals as approved by the Goa Town and Country Planning Board may be forwarded to the Chief Town Planner (Planning), 2nd Floor, Dempo Tower, Patto Plaza, Panaji-Goa, before the expiry of the said period of thirty days, so that the said proposals alongwith suggestions, if any received, can be placed before the Goa Town and Country Planning Board for its recommendation/approval/ /decision in terms of sub-rule (3) of rule 4 of the said Rules.

Whereas, Town and Country Planning Department of the Government of Goa is in receipt of applications under sub-section (1) of Section 39A of the Goa Town and Country Planning Act, 1974 (Act 21 of 1975) for change of zone in the Regional Plan for Goa 2021 in respect of the plot of land as specified at Sr. No. 1, 2 & 3 notified vide Notification No. 36/18/39A/Notification (50)/TCP/2026/247 dated 08-04-2026, published in the Official Gazette, Series III No. 2 dated 09-04-2026 in terms of sub-rule 2 of rule 4 of the Goa Town and Country Planning (change of zone of land in the Regional Plan or the Outline Development Plan) Rules, 2024 (herein after referred to as the "said Rule").
And whereas the Government vide note dated 30-04-2026 has directed to rescind the decision of the TCP Board taken in terms of sub-rule (1) of rule 4 of the said rules.
Now, therefore, in view of the recommendation of the Goa Town and Country Planning Board in its 232nd Meeting held on 04-05-2026, the case referred at Sr. No. 1, 2 & 3 published in Official Gazette, Series III No. 2 dated 09-04-2026 stands rescinded.

In exercise of the powers conferred on me under Section 116 & 117 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and as proposed/recommended by the Dy. Superintendent of Police (Traffic), Panaji, I, Ankit Yadav, IAS, District Magistrate, North Goa hereby notify "No Parking Zone", on the stretch of one side (Right Side) of the road leading from Navratna Hotel Junction, near Vagator Helipad leading to Mahalaxmi Hotel, Vagator, Bardez within the jurisdiction of Village Panchayat Anjuna, Caisua, Bardez-Goa.
Further, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under the provision of Section 116 of the above Act, I also authorize the erection of traffic sign boards in order to caution/regulate the motor vehicular traffic.
The Secretary, Village Panchayat Anjuna Caisua, Bardez are directed to publish this notification through the Director of Information and Publicity in local newspapers and P.W.D. (Engineering Cell) to make necessary arrangements to erect the signboard at the places indicated above as per the specification laid down by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and as published in the Official Gazette by the Government of Goa and report compliance within Thirty days time.

Whereas, the Executive Engineer, Works Division XXVIII(Bridges)NH, P.W.D., Fatorda, Margao-Goa, vide his letter referred to at (1) above has requested for issue of Notification for temporary closure of New Mandovi Bridge on 10-05-2026 (Sunday) from 06.00 a.m. to 07.30 a.m. and Old Mandovi Bridge on 10-05-2026 (Sunday) from 07.30 a.m. to 09.00 a.m. for all vehicular traffic, in order to carry out routine inspection and recording of deck level.
And whereas, Superintendent of Police (North), Porvorim and the Dy. Superintendent of Police, Traffic (North), Panaji, vide letters referred to at (2) & (3) above have conveyed No Objection for notifying the temporary closure of New Mandovi Bridge and Old Mandovi Bridge on 10-05-2026.
And whereas, I am of the considered opinion to notify the above mentioned traffic circulation plan in the area of New Mandovi Bridge and Old Mandovi Bridge.
Now therefore, I, Ankit Yadav, IAS, District Magistrate, North Goa, do hereby notify temporary closure of New Mandovi Bridge on 10-05-2026 (Sunday) from 06.00 a.m. to 07.30 a.m. and Old Mandovi Bridge on 10-05-2026 (Sunday) from 07.30 a.m. to 09.00 a.m. for all vehicular traffic, in order to carry out routine inspection and recording of deck level.
1) The roads approaching both the bridges at both ends shall be suitably barricaded.
2) As soon as the work is completed the material used for the barricading shall be removed immediately and the roads shall be thrown open for normal vehicular flow.

4) During the closure of New Mandovi Bridge, light traffic may be allowed on Old Mandovi Bridge (both ways), heavy traffic shall be diverted through 3rd Bridge (Atal Setu).
5) During closure of Old Mandovi Bridge traffic shall be allowed on New Mandovi Bridge (both ways) and 3rd Bridge (Atal Setu).
6) The PWD Officials/Contractor carrying out the said work shall deploy sufficient Traffic Marshals for guiding the motorists accordingly.
7) The PWD shall adopt all security measures to ensure safety and security of workers.
8) The PWD shall make contingency arrangements, especially engaging services of fire force and medical aid in case of emergency.
9) The PWD shall obtain necessary NOC's as required from all concerned authority/dept. well in advance.
10) Notice in all local dailies/press shall be given for the information of the motorists.
11) In case movement of any VVIP/VIP or Ambulance the road shall be kept open for movement of carcade and emergency vehicles.
12) The road shall be completed within the stipulated times.
13) Under no circumstances both the Bridges should be closed simultaneously.
14) Panaji and Porvorim Police Station shall be informed well in advance regarding the road closure.
