Chapter I
Preliminary
1. Short title and commencement

| Rule 7 (17) (A) | Computer Operator-cum- Typist | (i) 50 per cent by direct recruitment. (ii) 50 per cent from eligible daily wages employees and other employees having lesser scale of pay after completing 3 years of continuous satisfactory service on the basis of limited competitive test as may be prescribed. Note:- Such employees must have knowledge of Computer Applications and Typing proficiency of 40 words per minute in English. | (i) Graduate from any University (ii) Diploma/Certificate course of at least six months in computer application from an institution recognized by the Government. (iii) Typing speed 40 words per minute in English. |

Savings.—All actions taken prior to the commencement of Patna High Court Officers and Staff (Condition of Service and Conduct) (Amendment) Rules-2015 shall be deemed to have been validly taken and exercised notwithstanding the amendment to these Rules.
