सं॰ 4/ब1-102/2008-1591-गृ॰आ॰—बिहार पुलिस अधिनियम, 2007 (अधिनियम, 7, 2007) की धारा 55 सह पठित धारा 94 के अधीन बिहार के राज्यपाल बिहार पुलिस हस्तक, 1978 में अधिसूचना निर्गत होने की तिथि से निम्नलिखित संषोधन करते हैं। बिहार पुलिस हस्तक, 1978 खण्ड-III के परिषिश्ट 72 के क्रमांक-4 निम्नलिखित द्वारा प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा :- "4(i) पुलिस महानिदेषक/अपर पुलिस महानिदेषक अथवा पुलिस महानिरीक्षक कोटि के पदाधिकारी की अध्यक्षता में एक केन्द्रीय चयन पर्शद का गठन किया जाएगा।
(ii) केन्द्रीय चयन पर्शद के अध्यक्ष की नियुक्ति/मनोनयन राज्य सरकार के द्वारा किया जाएगा। (iii) केन्द्रीय चयन पर्शद में निम्नलिखित सदस्य होंगेः-
(क) सदस्य-पुलिस उप महानिरीक्षक स्तर के एक पदाधिकारी। (ख) एक अनुसूचित जाति/जनजाति के प्रतिनिधि-पुलिस उप महानिरीक्षक/पुलिस अधीक्षक स्तर के पदाधिकारी। (ग) एक अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय के प्रतिनिधि- पुलिस उप महानिरीक्षक/पुलिस अधीक्षक स्तर के पदाधिकारी। (घ) प्रधान सचिव/सचिव, सामान्य प्रषासन विभाग द्वारा मनोनीत पदाधिकारी जो आरक्षण से संबंधित नियमों/निदेषों 2 ॢबह(cid:4)र गजट (cid:10)[स(cid:4)ध(cid:4)रण(cid:15)(cid:16) 1 माच(cid:27) 2016 The 29th February 2016 No. 4B1-102/2008-1591-H.(P)—In exercise of the powers conferred under section 55 read with section 94 of Bihar Police Act 2007 (Act 07, 2007) the Governor of Bihar is pleased to make the following amendment in the Bihar Police Manual, 1978 with effect from the date of issue of notification.
Serial No. 4 of Appendix 72 of Bihar Police Manual, 1978, Volume-III shall be substituted by the following:-
"4(i) A Central Selection Board shall be constituted under the Chairmanship of officer of the rank of Director General of Police/Additional Director General of Police or Inspector General of Police.
(ii) The Chairman of the Board shall be appointed/nominated by the State Government. (iii) The Central Selection Board shall have following members:-
(a) Member-An officer of the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police. (b) A representative of SC/ST- An officer of the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police/Superintendent of Police.
(c) A representative of Minority Community-An officer of the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police/Superintendent of Police.
(d) The Officer nominated by the Principal Secretary/Secretary of General Administration Department who shall ensure follow-up Rules/Directions for reservation.
