laŒ GPF-01-491/2016-847—भारत के संविधान के अनुच्छेद 283 के खण्ड (2) द्वारा प्रदा शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए बिहार के राज्यपाल एतद्द्वारा बिहार सामान्य भविष्य निधि नियमावली, 1948 (समय-समय पर यथा संशोधित) का संशोधन करने हेतु निम्नलिखित नियमावली बनाते है :-

(1) यह नियमावली ''बिहार सामान्य भविष्य निधि (संशोधन) नियमावली, 2019'' कही जा सकेगी। (2) इसका विस्तार सम्पूर्ण बिहार राज्य में होगा। (3) यह तुरंत के प्रभाव से प्रवृत होगी।

1. Short title, extent, commencement and application.—
(1) These rules may be called the "Bihar General Provident Fund (Amendment) Rules, 2019.
(2) It shall extent to the whole of the State of Bihar. (3) It shall come into force with immediate effect.
2. Clause (b), (e) and (g) of sub-rule (2) of Rule of the Bihar General Provident Fund
Rules, 1948 shall be substituted by the following respectively;
"(b) For meeting the expenditure of the betrothal/marriage of the subscriber or his son or his daughter or any other female relative actually dependent on him." "(e) For repaying dues amount of any loan expressly taken for purchasing a house site or for building or acquiring of suitable house or ready - built flat for his residence which is not taken twelve months earlier from the date of receipt of the application."
