सं0 8/ब2-10-16/2019-6455/गृ0आ0—भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 309 के परंतुक के साथ पठित बिहार पुलिस अधिनियम, 2007 की धारा-55 सह-पठित धारा-97 के अधीन प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, बिहार राज्यपाल, बिहार पुलिस हस्तक, 1978 (समय-समय पर यथा संशोधित) में तुरन्त के प्रभाव से निम्नलिखित संशोधन करते हैंः-

सं0 8/ब2-10-16/2019-6456/गृ0आ0,एतद् द्वारा गृह विभाग (आरक्षी शाखा) की अधिसूचना सं0-6455, दिनांक 7 अगस्त 2019 का निम्नलिखित अंग्रेजी अनुवाद बिहार राज्यपाल के प्राधिकार से प्रकाशित किया जाता है, जिसे भारत-संविधान के अनुछेद-348 के खण्ड-(3) के अन्तर्गत अंग्रेजी भाषा में उक्त अधिसूचना का प्राधिकृत पाठ समझा जायेगा।

No.8/B2-10-16/2019-6455/H.P. —In exercise of powers conferred under the proviso to Artical 309 of the Constitution of India read with section 55 and section 97 of Bihar Police Act, 2007 the Governor of Bihar is hereby pleased to make the following amendments in the Bihar Police Manual, 1978 (as amended from time to time) with immediate effect-

In the Manual -
1. Rule 655 A shall be substituted by following :-
"(a) For preparation of final merit list according to the main examination the minimum qualifying marks for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled tribes and Women shall be 32%, for the candidates of Extremely Backward category 34%, for the candidates of Backward category 36.5% and for the candidates of General category 40%.
2. In Sub-Rule (v) of Rule 658 "within 6 minutes" time limit for one mile run for male candidates shall be substituted by "within 6 minutes 30 seconds" Male candidates, taking more than six minutes thirty seconds shall be declared unsuccessful.
