सं॰ 1/एफ1-103/2020-1218@श्र॰सं॰—चूँकि वर्तमान में कोविड-19 वायरस महामारी के प्रकोप ने बिहार राज्य में औद्योगिक क्रियाकलापों एवं आर्थिक गतिविधियों की गति को कम किया है एवं औद्योगिक क्रियाकलापों तथा आर्थिक गतिविधियों को गति देने हेतु प्रदेश में नये औद्योगिक निवेश के अवसर पैदा करने की आवश्यकता है;
इसलिए, कारखाना अधिनियम, 1948 की धारा 5 एवं 62(2)द्वारा प्रदा शक्तियों को प्रयोग में लाते हुए, राज्य सरकार राज्य में निबंधित सभी कारखानाओं के लिए राजपत्र में प्रकाशित होने की तिथि से तीन माह के लिए धारा 65 की उपधारा (3) की कंडिका (i) एवं (iii) के प्रावधानों में निम्न शर्तो के साथ छूट दिया जाना विनिर्दिष्ट करती है :-
ॢबह(cid:4)र गजट (cid:10)[स(cid:4)ध(cid:4)रण(cid:15)(cid:16) 15 मई 2020 2 15 ebZ 2020 संख्या-1/एफ1-103/2020-1219@ श्र॰सं॰, 1218@श्र॰सं॰ दिनांक 9 मई 2020 का अंग्रेजी भाषा मेंनिम्नलिखित अनुवाद बिहार राज्यपाल के प्राधिकार से इसके द्वारा प्रकाशित किया जाता है, जो भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 348 के (खण्ड) 3 के अधीन अंग्रेजी भाषा में उसका प्राधिकृृत पाठ समझा जाएगा।

——— The 9th May 2020 No.-1/F1-103/2020, L.R.)-1218—Whereas, the Covid-19 Virus pandemic has deteriorated the industrial and economic activities in the State of Bihar and for providing impetus to the industrial and economic activities in the State, it is important to provide new opportunities for industrial investment in the State;
Now therefore,in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 and 65(2) of the Factories Act. 1948, the Government of Bihar hereby directs that all the factories registered under the Factories Act. 1948 shall be exempted under clause (i) and (iii) of sub-section (3) of Section 65 with the following conditions for 3 months from the date of publication of this notification in Bihar Gazette:-
(1.) No adult worker shall be allowed or required to work in a factory for more than twelve hours in any day and seventy two hours in any week.
(2.) The periods of work of adult workers in a factory each day shall be fixed that no period exceed six hours and that no worker shall work for more than six hours before he has had an interval for rest of at least 30 minutes. Over time wages shall be paid as provided under section 59 of the Factories Act. 1948
