No. Parya/Van-36/2019-92—To ensure effective implementation of the provisions of the E-waste (Management) Rules, 2016 and environmentally sound management of e-waste in the State, a State Level Monitoring Committee for management of e-waste is being constituted as detailed below:- 1. State Level Monitoring Committee (SLMC):

| 2. | Secretary, Industry Department, Govt. of Bihar or nominated officer not below the rank of Joint Secretary. | Member |
| 3. | Secretary, Urban Development & Housing Department, Govt. of Bihar or nominated officer not below the rank of Joint Secretary. | Member |
| 4. | Representative of the Additional Chief Secretary, Labour Department, Govt. of Bihar not below the rank of Joint Secretary. | Member |
| 5. | Managing Director, Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority. | Member |
| 6. | Member Secretary, Bihar State Pollution Control Board, Patna | Convener |
The District Level Task Force constituted under the Chairmanship of the District Magistrate for environmental management will monitor the implementation of the e-waste management rules also and review the same on monthly basis and report to Bihar State Pollution Control Board.
