सं॰ सं0का0-01/वि0मं0(सदस्यों का वेतन एवं भत्ते)05-06/2017-910—संसदीय कार्य विभाग, बिहार, पटना की अधिसूचना संख्या-431, दिनांक 03.04.2013 का निम्नलिखित अंग्रेजी अनुवाद, बिहार राज्यपाल के प्राधिकार से एतद्‌ द्वारा प्रकाशित किया जाता है जो भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 348 के खंड (3) के अधीन उक्त नियमावली का अंग्रेजी भाषा में प्राधिकृत पाठ समझा जायेगा।

Bihar Legislature (Pay, Allowances and Pension of Members)

(Amendment) Rules, 2013

1. Short title and commencement-

(1) These Rules may be called the Bihar Legislature (Pay, Allowances and Pension of Members) (Amendment) Rules, 2013.

(2) They shall come into force from the date of issue of notification.

2. Substitution of Rule 10 and Rule 17 (4) of the said Rules, 2006- The Rule 10 and Rule 17 (4) of the said Rules, 2006 shall be substituted by the following:- "10 Facility of journey by Rail/Air- Every member shall be given railway coupon maximum value of Rs. two lakh every year for journey of any place or places inside India in First A.C., Second A.C., Third A.C. with a co-traveler for performing their duties. The member shall be entitled for air travel maximum value of Rs. 1,00,000/- (one lakh) with family members under the limit of Rs. 2.00 (two) lakh." "17 (4) Facility of Railway Coupon- The former member of Bihar Legislature shall be entitled for journey every year in First A.C./Second A.C./Third A.C./Sleeper Class with a co-traveler on rail coupon worth Rs. 1,00,000/- (one lakh): Provided that such former members who are employed on salary in University recognized by the Central Government or any State Government shall be entitled for journey on railway coupon as per above provisions. Provided further that they will not get travelling allowances/daily allowances from their University/College for journey on railway coupon and they will have to submit an affidavit to the Secretary, Legislative Assembly/Legislative Council, as the case may be and their employment authority to this effect."
