सं॰ सं0का0-01/वि0मं0(सदस्यों का वेतन एवं भत्ते)05-06/2017-913—संसदीय कार्य विभाग, बिहार, पटना की अधिसूचना संख्या-808, दिनांक 07.08.2014 का निम्नलिखित अंग्रेजी अनुवाद, बिहार राज्यपाल के प्राधिकार से एतद्‌ द्वारा प्रकाशित किया जाता है जो भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 348 के खंड (3) के अधीन उक्त नियमावली का अंग्रेजी भाषा में प्राधिकृत पाठ समझा जायेगा।

Bihar Legislature (Pay, Allowances and Pension of Members) (Amendment) Rules,

2014

1. Short title and commencement-

(1) These Rules may be called the Bihar Legislature (Pay, Allowances and Pension of Members) (Amendment) Rules, 2014.

(2) They shall come into force from the date of issue of notification.

2. Rule 10 of the said Rules, 2006 shall be substituted by the following:-

"10 Facility of journey by Rail/Air – Every member shall be admissible Rs. 2,00,000/- (two lakh) in a financial year for journey by rail/air to travel any place or places inside India with maximum of four co-travelers for performing their duties."

3. Sub-Rule (4) of Rule 17 of the said Rules, 2006 shall be substituted by the

following:- "(4) Facility of journey by Rail/Air- In a financial year, upto Rs. 1,00,000/- (one lakh) shall be admissible to the former member of Bihar Legislature for journey by rail/air to travel in one place or places inside India with maximum of three co-travelers. Provided that such former members who are employed on salary in University recognised by the Central or any State Government, shall also be entitled for rail/air journey; Provided further that they may not get the travelling allowances/daily allowances from their University/College and they will have to submit an affidavit to the Secretary, Legislative Assembly/Secretary, Legislative Council, as the case may be and their employment authority to this effect."
