No.100/ES-1/BR-LA/2/2022- WHEREAS, the seat of Sh. Subash Singh, in the Legislative Assembly of the State of Bihar, elected from 101-Gopalganj Assembly Constituency in the State, has become vacant on 16th August, 2022 by reason of his death; and
2. WHEREAS, a bye-election is to be held for the purpose of filling the said vacancy;
3. NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 150 and sections 30 and 56 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission of India hereby- (A) Calls upon the said 101-Gopalganj Assembly Constituency in the State of Bihar, to elect, before the 08th November, 2022 (Tuesday) and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the rules and orders made thereunder, a person, for the purpose of filling the said vacancy in the Legislative Assembly of the State;

सं॰ 100/पूर्वअनु0-1/बिहार-वि.स./3/2022ः- यतः बिहार राज्य की विधान सभा में 178-मोकामा विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से निर्वाचित सदस्य श्री अनंत कुमार सिंह के विरूद्व दोशसिद्वि एवं दंडादेष के परिणामस्वरूप लोक प्रतिनिधित्व नियम, 1951 की धारा-8 तथा संविधान के अनुच्छेद-191 (1)(e) के प्रावधानों के तहत निरर्हित किये जाने के कारण दिनांक 21 जून, 2022 से स्थान रिक्त हो गया है; और
2. यतः इस प्रकार हुई रिक्ति को भरने के प्रयोजन से उप-निर्वाचन कराया जाना है; और 3. अतः, अब, लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 1951 का 43 की धारा 150 की उपधारा (1) और धारा 30 और 56 के अनुसरण में भारत निर्वाचन आयोग एतद्द्वाराः- अ बिहार राज्य से उक्त 178-मोकामा विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से यह अपेक्षा करता है कि उक्त अधिनियम के और तद्धीन बनाये गये नियमों और किये गये आदेषों के उपबन्धों के अनुसार 8 नवम्बर, 2022 से पूर्व राज्य की विधान सभा में की विधान सभा में हुई उक्त रिक्ति को भरने के प्रयोजन से एक व्यक्ति निर्वाचित करें;
