1. संक्षिप्त नाम एवं प्रारंभ।-(1) यह नियमावली बिहार विज्ञापन (संशोधन) नियमावली, 2023 कही जा सकेगी। (2) यह नियमावली राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तिथि से प्रवृत्त होगी।
2. बिहार विज्ञापन नियमावली, 2016 के नियम-4 का संशोधन।- उक्त नियमावली के नियम-4 (xxviii) के बाद एक नया नियम-4 (xxix) निम्नवत जोड़ा जायेगा :-
''4 (xxix) 'राष्ट्रीय समाचार पत्र' से अभिप्रेत है वैसे समाचार पत्र जिनके किसी एक संस्करण की प्रसार संख्या DAVP अथवा Audit Bureau of Circulation के अभिलेख में 75,000 (पचहत्तर हजार) से अधिक हो तथा जिनका संस्करण एक से अधिक राज्यों में प्रकाशित होता हो।'' ;बपकरू464द्ध ;द्ध 22 ;बपकरू464द्ध;बपकरू224द्ध 2023 2

Bihar Advertisement (Amendment) Rules, 2023
1. Short title and commencement. -(1) These Rules may be called Bihar Advertisement (Amendment) Rules, 2023. (2) These Rules shall come into force from the date of publication in the official Gazette.
2. Amendment of Rule 4 of Bihar Advertisement Rules, 2016.-After Rule 4 (xxviii) of the said rules, a new rule 4 (xxix) shall be added as follows: - "4 (xxix) 'National Newspaper' means news papers having at least one edition with circulation beyond 75000 and have editions in more than one state, as reflected in the records of DAVP or Audit Bureau of Circulation."
3. Amendment of rule - 7(I)(v) of Bihar Advertisement Rules, 2016.- The following words shall be added at the end of rule 7(I)(v) of the said Rules :- "but the above circulation limit will not be applicable in case of the Patna edition of national newspapers."
