No. X-02-2024-86(R) /Rules Deptt.- In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (2) of Article 229 of the Constitution of India, the Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Patna makes the following amendment in the Patna High Court Officers and Staff (Recruitment, Appointment, Promotion and other Conditions of Service and Conduct) Rules, 2021.
1. Short title and commencement-
(I) These Rules shall be called the Patna High Court Officers and Staff (Recruitment, Appointment, Promotion and other Conditions of Service and Conduct) (2nd Amendment) Rules, 2024.
(ii) It shall come into force with immediate effect and shall apply to such 2 BIHAR GAZETTE (EXTRA) 8TH FEBRUARY 2023 2. Rules 18 of Clause 6(H) of the Patna High Court Officers and Staff (Recruitment, Appointment, Promotion and other Conditions of Service and Conduct) Rules, 2021 is amended in its entirety by way of its substitution in the following manner:-

(b) Maximum educational qualification of Intermediate (12th Pass) from a recognised Board/ Institution. (c) Knowledge of Cycling. (d) Proficiency in Life Skills. (e) Interview/Skill test. |
| B. By absorption from persons engaged on daily wages having due regard to seniority 25% of the vacancies in a calendar year | (a) Minimum educational qualification of 08th Pass from a recognised Board/ Institution. (b) Knowledge of Cycling. (c) Proficiency in Life Skill. (d) On completion of minimum three years' satisfactory performance of duty. |
