No. X-02-2024-868(R)/Rule Dept..—In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (2) of Article 229 of the Constitution of India, the Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Patna makes the following amendment in the Patna High Court Officers and Staff (Recruitment, Appointment, Promotion and other Conditions of Service and Conduct) Rules, 2021.

1. Short title and commencement.—

(i) These Rules shall be called the Patna High Court Officers and Staff(Recruitment, Appointment, Promotion and other Conditions of Service and Conduct) (7th Amendment) Rules, 2024. (ii) It shall come into force with immediate effect and shall apply to such vacancies accrued before and after the amendment. 2 BIHAR GAZETTE (EXTRA) 18TH SEPTEMBER 2024 2. In Part- V, below Rule- 8, Sub-rule (1)(c) and above Rule- 8, Sub-rule (1)(d), a proviso is added in the following manner:-

Provided that in those cases where the Rules clearly prescribes Skill Test in addition to Written Test(s) and Interview as procedure for filling up the post, selection will be made on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in Written Test(s), Skill Test and Interview.
