संख्या 10—विधिक सेवा प्राधिकार अधिनियम, 1987 (1987 का अधिनियम सं0 39) (समय-समय पर यथा संशोधित) की धारा 29-क के अधीन प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, बिहार राज्य विधिक सेवा प्राधिकार एतद् द्वारा बिहार राज्य विधिक सेवा प्राधिकार विनियम, 1998, (समय-समय पर यथासंशोधित) का संशोधन करने हेतु निम्नलिखित (संशोधन) विनियमावली बनाते हैंः-
1. संक्षिप्त नाम प्रारंभ और विस्तार।- (1) यह विनयमावली बिहार राज्य विधिक सेवा प्राधिकार (संशोधन) विनियमावली, 2024 कही जा सकेगी ।
2. बिहार राज्य विधिक सेवा प्राधिकार विनियमन, 1998 के विनियम-19(क) के स्थान पर ''किन्नर'' शब्द को उभयलिंगी व्यक्ति (अधिकारों का संरक्षण) अधिनियम, 2019 की धारा 2(क) के अनुसार परिभाषित ''उभयलिंगी व्यक्ति'' शब्दों से प्रतिस्थापित किया जाता है । 2 (cid:464)बहार गजट (असाधारण), 18 अ(cid:200)तूबर 2024

No.10—In exercise of the powers conferred under section 29-A of Legal Services Authority Act, 1987 (Act no.39 of 1987), (as amended from time to time) the Bihar State Legal Services Authority hereby makes the following (Amendment) Regulation to amend the Bihar State Legal Services Authority Regulation, 1998 (amended from time to time).
1. Short title extent and Commencement.- (1) These regulations may be called the Bihar State Legal Services Authority (Amendment) Regulations, 2024.
2. Regulation-19(a) of the Bihar State Legal Services Authority Regulations, 1998 the word "Transgender" is substituted by the words "Transgender Person" as defined in Sec. 2(k) of Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019.
3. Section 2 of this Regulation shall come into force from the date of notification in the Official Gazette.
4. It shall extend to the whole of the State of Bihar.
