सं॰ एल॰जी॰-01-20/2024-7896/लेज।—बिहार विधान मंडल द्वारा यथापारित निम्नलिखित अधिनियम, जिसपर माननीय राज्यपाल दिनांक 7 दिसम्बर 2024 को अनुमति दे चुके हैं, इसके द्वारा सर्व-साधारण की सूचना के लिये प्रकाशित किया जाता है ।

चूँंकि बिहार खेल विश्वविद्यालय अधिनियम मेे विभाग का नाम ''कला, संस्कृति एवं युवा विभाग'' को ''खेल विभाग'' एवं ''निदेशक, छात्र एवं युवा कल्याण निदेशालय''का नाम ''निदेशक, खेल निदेशालय'' किया जाना है, इसलिए बिहार खेल विश्वविद्यालय अधिनियम, 2021 में संशोधन किया जाना आवश्यक है। इसलिए भारत गणराज्य के पचहत्तरवें वर्ष में बिहार राज्य विधान मंडल द्वारा निम्नलिखित रूप से अधिनियमित होः-
(1) यह अधिनियम बिहार खेल विश्वविद्यालय (संशोधन) अधिनियम, 2024 कहा जायेगा। (2) इसका विस्तार सम्पूर्ण बिहार राज्य में होगा। (3) यह राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तिथि से प्रवृत समझा जायेगा।
उक्त अधिनियम में जहाँ-जहाँ ''कला, संस्कृति एवं युवा विभाग'' शब्द समूह अंकित है,के स्थान पर ''खेल विभाग'',शब्द समूह से प्रतिस्थापित किये जायेंगे तथा जहाँ-जहाँ ''निदेशक, छात्र एवं युवा कल्याण निदेशालय'' शब्द समूह अंकित है के स्थान पर ''निदेशक, खेल निदेशालय'' शब्द समूह से प्रतिस्थापित किये जायेंगे।
(vii) -बिहार अधिनियम 21, 2021 की धारा
4(vii) को निम्नवत् प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा :-
''बिहार खेल विश्वविद्यालय, राजगीर, राज्य खेल अकादमी, राजगीर की अवसंरचनाओं का उपयोग निदेशक, राज्य खेल अकादमी, राजगीर की सहमति से कर सकेगा। इस संबंध में समय-समय पर खेल विभाग, पटना, बिहार द्वारा उचित दिशा-निदेश निर्गत किया जायेगा।

7 दिसम्बर 2024 को अनुमत (बिहार अधिनियम संख्या-21, 2024) का निम्नलिखित अंग्रेजी अनुवाद बिहार राज्यपाल के प्राधिकार से इसके द्वारा प्रकाशित किया जाता है, जिसे भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद-348 के खंड (3) के अधीन उक्त अधिनियम का अंग्रेजी भाषा में प्राधिकृत पाठ समझा जायेगा ।

[Bihar Act 21, 2024] BIHAR SPORTS UNIVERSITY (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2024 AN ACT
To Amend The Bihar Sports University Act, 2021 Preamble.—WHEREAS, the name of The Department of "Art, Culture and Youth Welfare" to be changed to "Department of Sports" and the name of "Director, Students and Youth Welfare Directorate" to be changed to "Director, Sports Directorate" in the Bihar Sports University Act. therefore, it is necessary to amend The Bihar Sports University Act, 2021. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Bihar in the seventy-fifth year of the Republic of India as follows:
1. Short Title, Extent, and Commencement: (1) This Act may be called The Bihar Sports University (amendment) Act, 2024. (2) It shall extend to whole of the State of Bihar. (3) It shall come into force from the date of publication in the official Gazette.
3 (cid:464)बहार गजट (असाधारण), 9 (cid:464)दस(cid:224)बर 20242. Amendment in the Bihar Sports University Act, 2021.—In the said Act, wherever words"Art, Culture and Youth Department" has been mentioned shall be substituted by words "The Department of Sports"and wherever words "Director, Students and Youth Welfare Directorate" is mentioned shall be substituted by words, "Director, Sports Directorate".
3. Amendment of section 4 (vii) of Bihar Act 21, 2021. – Section 4 (vii) of Bihar Act21, 2021 shall be substituted by following:-
"Bihar Sports University, Rajgir may use the infrastructure facilities of State Sports Academy, Rajgir with concurrence of Director, State Sports Academy, Rajgir. The Department of Sports, Patna, Biharshallissue guidelines regarding this from time to time.
