Dated -18th August 2025 Subject:- Regarding approval of the proposal of revision of fee structure of M.Ed. Progamme effective from 2024-25 of Patna University, Patna.

Sir,I am directed to invite a reference to the letter No.- BSHEC/O&R/PU/ M.Ed/52/ 2024-490, dated-05.09.2024 received from the Member Secretary-cum-State Project Director, Bihar State Higher Education Council, Bihar, Patna on the subject mentioned above and to inform that the Hon'ble Chancellor after due consideration of the recommendation made by the Member Secretary-cum-State Project Director, Bihar State Higher Education Council, Bihar, Patna and the opinion of the University Advisory Committee and in exercise of the powers conferred upon him under section 38(4) and 39 (2) of the Patna University Act, 1976 (as amended up-to-date) has been pleased to assent the proposal of revision of fee structure of M.Ed. Progamme effective from 2024-25 in Patna University, Patna on 09.08.2025 and directed that the revised fee structure of M.Ed. programme will be effective from the current academic year 2025-26 in place of 2024-25 in Patna University, Patna. (Admission Committee) 1. Resolved that the admission fee of 4-semester M.Ed. programme will be rupees 13000/-for UR, BC, EBC and EWS and rupees 6500/- for SC, ST and PWD categories for first two semesters (sem I &II) and the same admission fee will be charged for the last two semesters (sem-III &IV) as has been approved vide Sankalp memo no.20/izΠ7-01/2016-472 dated 07/10/2016 of the education department, Govt of Bihar. Admission fee will be charged during admission in the 1st semester and 3rd semester.

Note:- The above noted resolution has been approved by the Academic Council and Syndicate vide its meetings dated-16.01.2024 and 25.01.2024 respectively.
