सं. 100/िबहार-िव.प./04/2025-(cid:214)था.(cid:255)ा.: यत: िबहार रा(cid:186)य क(cid:236) िवधान प(cid:229)रषद म(cid:164) भोजपुर-सह-ब(cid:179)सर (cid:214)थानीय (cid:255)ािधकारी िनवा(cid:170)चन- (cid:177)े(cid:253) से िनवा(cid:170)िचत (cid:174)ी राधा चरण साह का (cid:214)थान, उनक(cid:236) पदाविध, जो 07.04.2028 सिहत उस तारीख तक थी, के समा(cid:302) होने से पूव(cid:170) िबहार िवधानसभा म(cid:164) उनके िनवा(cid:170)िचत होने के कारण 16.11.2025 से (cid:229)र(cid:265) हो गया है; और यतः, इस (cid:255)कार ह(cid:242)ई (cid:229)रि(cid:265) को भरने के (cid:255)योजन से उप-िनवा(cid:170)चन कराना है;
अतः, अब लोक (cid:255)ितिनिध(cid:194)व अिधिनयम् 1951 (1951 का 43) क(cid:236) धारा 151, 30 और 56 के अनुसरण म(cid:164), िनवा(cid:170)चन आयोग एत(cid:293)वाराः-
(अ) िबहार रा(cid:186)य म(cid:164) भोजपुर-सह-ब(cid:179)सर (cid:214)थानीय (cid:255)ािधकारी िनवा(cid:170)चन-(cid:177)े(cid:253) से यह अपे(cid:177)ा करता है िक वे 15 मई, 2026 (शु(cid:248)वार) से पूव(cid:170) तथा उ(cid:265) अिधिनयम और उसके त(cid:294)ीन बनाए गए िनयम(cid:332) और िकए गए आदेश(cid:332) के उपब(cid:198)ध(cid:332) के अनुसार रा(cid:186)य क(cid:236) िवधान प(cid:229)रषद म(cid:164) उ(cid:265) (cid:229)रि(cid:265) को भरने के (cid:255)योजन से एक (cid:211)यि(cid:265) िनवा(cid:170)िचत कर देः,
(आ) उ(cid:265) िनवा(cid:170)चन के संबंध मेः-
(क) नाम िनद(cid:165)िशत करने क(cid:236) अि(cid:198)तम तारीख – 23 अ(cid:255)ैल, 2026 (गु(cid:321)वार) ; (ख) नाम िनद(cid:165)शन क(cid:236) संवी(cid:177)ा क(cid:236) तारीख – 24 अ(cid:255)ैल, 2026 (शु(cid:248)वार) ; (ग) अ(cid:203)यिथ(cid:170)ताएं वापस लेने क(cid:236) अि(cid:198)तम तारीख – 27 अ(cid:255)ैल, 2026 (सोमवार) ; (घ) वह तारीख िजसको यिद आव(cid:212)यक ह(cid:242)आ तो मतदान होगा – 12 मई, 2026 (मंगलवार) ; और (ड.) वह तारीख िजसको पूव(cid:170) िनवा(cid:170)चन स(cid:204)प(cid:198)न करा िलया जाएगा– 15 मई, 2026 (शु(cid:248)वार); िनयत करता है और
(इ) 08:00 बजे पूवा(cid:170)(cid:313) से 04:00 बजे अपरा(cid:313) तक का समय उस समय के (cid:322)प म(cid:164) िनयत करता है िजसको यिद आव(cid:212)यक ह(cid:242)आ तो िविनिद(cid:170)(cid:310) तारीख को मतदान होगा।

ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA ——— NOTIFICATION Nirvachan Sadan, Ashoka Road, New Delhi./Dated 16th April, 2026 Chaitra 26, 1948 (Saka) No.100/BR-LC/04/2025-LAC: - WHEREAS, the seat of Shri Radha Charan Sah in the Legislative Council of the State of Bihar, elected from Bhojpur-cum-Buxar Local Authorities' Constituency, has become vacant on 16th November, 2025, by the reason of his election to the Bihar Legislative Assembly, before the expiration of his term of office which was upto and including the 07.04.2028; and
WHEREAS, a bye-election is to be held for the purpose of filling the vacancy so caused; NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of sections 151, 30 and 56 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission hereby -
(A) calls upon the Bhojpur-cum-Buxar Local Authorities' Constituency, in the State of Bihar, to elect, before 15th May, 2026 (Friday) and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the rules and orders made thereunder, a person for the purpose of filling the said vacancy in the Legislative Council of the State;
(B) appoints, with respect to the said election, -
(a) the 23rd April, 2026 (Thursday), as the last date for making nominations; (b) the 24th April, 2026 (Friday), as the date for the scrutiny of nominations; (c) the 27th April, 2026 (Monday), as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures;
3 (cid:464)बहार गजट (असाधारण), 16 अ(cid:292)ील 2026(C) fixes the hours from 08:00 am to 04:00 pm, as the hours during which the poll shall, if necessary, be taken on the date specified above for the election.
