सं॰ B1-03-78/2026-30—बिहार विधान सभा के सदस्यों द्वारा बिहार विधान परिशद् का द्विवार्शिक निर्वाचन, 2026 के लिए लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम 1951 (1951 का 43) की धारा 16 के अनुसरण में बिहार राज्य के माननीय राज्यपाल द्वारा दिनांक 01.06.2026 को जारी अधिसूचना संख्या- 29 (हिन्दी एवं अंग्रेजी) तथा भारत निर्वाचन आयोग, नई दिल्ली द्वारा बिहार विधान परिशद् में भरे जाने वाले पदो की संख्या एवं निर्वाचन कार्यक्रम से संबंधित अधिसूचना संख्या- 322/बिहार-वि.प/2026 (एम.एल.ए.)(1) दिनांक 01.06.2026 तथा रिटर्निग ऑफिसर के रूप में पदाभिहित अधिकारी और सहायक रिटर्निग ऑफिसर के रूप में नियुक्त अधिकारी से संबंधित भारत निर्वाचन आयोग, नई दिल्ली की अधिसूचना संख्या- 322/बिहार-वि.प/2026 (एम.एल.ए.)(2) दिनांक 01.06.2026 (हिन्दी एवं अंग्रेजी) सर्वसाधारण की जानकारी के लिए प्रकाषित की जाती हैं।
बिहार-राज्यपाल के आदेष सेे, माधव कुमार सिंह, अपर सचिव-सह- अपर मुख्य निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी।2 (cid:464)बहार गजट (असाधारण), 1 जून 2026 निर्वाचन विभाग ——— अधिसूचना 1 जून 2026 सं॰ B1-03-78/2026-29—यतः बिहार राज्य में, राज्य की विधान सभा के सदस्यों द्वारा निर्वाचित राज्य की विधान परिशद् के 09 (नौ) सदस्यों के स्थान 28 जून, 2026 को उनकी पदावधि समाप्त होने के कारण उनकी सेवानिवृत्ति होने पर रिक्त होने वाले हैं जिनका विवरण इस प्रकार है-

यतः इस प्रकार उत्पन्न होने वाली रिक्तियों को भरने के प्रयोजन से द्विवार्शिक निर्वाचन कराया जाना है;
अत; अब लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम् 1951 (1951 का 43) की धारा 16 के अनुसरण में, जैसा कि निर्वाचन आयोग ने सिफारिष की है कि बिहार राज्य के राज्यपाल राज्य की विधान सभा के सदस्यों से यह अपेक्षा करते हैं कि वे उक्त अधिनियम् के उपबन्धों और उसके अधीन बनाए नियमों और आदेषों के अनुसार उक्त रिक्तियों को भरने के प्रयोजन से राज्य की विधान परिशद् के लिए नौ सदस्य निर्वाचित कर दें।

NOW, THEREFORE, as recommended by the Election Commission, in pursuance of section 16 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Governor of the State of Bihar is, hereby, pleased to call upon the Members of the Legislative Assembly of the State, to elect Nine members to the Legislative Council of the State, for the purpose of filling the above said vacancies, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the rules and orders made thereunder.

No. 322/BR-LC/2026 (MLAs) (1): - WHEREAS, the Governor of the State of Bihar has, by notification issued under Section 16 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951) and published in the official Gazette of the State on 01st June, 2026 been pleased to call upon the members of the Legislative Assembly of the State, to elect Nine members to the Legislative Council of the State: - Now, therefore, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of Section 39 and Section 56 of the said Act, the Election Commission hereby –
(A) appoints, with respect to the said election –
(a) the 08th June, 2026 (Monday), as the last date for making nominations;
(b) the 09th June, 2026 (Tuesday), as the date for the scrutiny of the nominations;
(c) the 11th June, 2026 (Thursday), as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures;
(d) the 18th June, 2026 (Thursday), as the date on which a poll shall, if necessary, be taken; and
(e) the 20th June, 2026 (Saturday), as the date before which the election shall be completed; and
(B) fixes the hours from 09:00 am to 04:00 pm, as the hours during which the poll shall, if necessary, be taken in the State on the date specified above, for the election.
