(1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA: EXTRAORDINARY (PART II—SEC. 3 (ii)] IVflNKTRYOFHOME AFFAIRS ORDER New Delhi, the 26th December, 2001 S.0.1264(E).— In pursuance of the provisions of section 2 (1) (a) of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force Act, 1992 (3 5 of 1992) the Central Government hereby declares that with effect from 1 st January, 2002 to until further order, the duty of every member of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, as and when deployed in operation, or on patrol, or on guard duty, or providing security to any person or institution/installations within the territorial limits of the States and Union Territories mentioned herein, shall be the period of active duty:—
