S.0.79(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (a) of Section 3 of National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) and in supersession of notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Surface Transport No. S.O, 772(E) dated 10th August, 2001 in so far as it relates to the District of Ajmer except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby authorises Additional District Magistrate (Land Acquisition), Ajmer District, Rajasthan as the competent authority, to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the land of stretch from Km. 15 to Km. 64 of National Highway No. 79 (Nasirabad to Baral Tehsil Vrjay Nagar.'District Ajmer) (for widening of existing National Highways including construction of bypass, if any) in the State of Rajasthan as specified in the Schedule below, till further orders.
