का.आ. 940( अ ) .-केन्द्रीय सरकार, केन्द्रीय मोटरयान ( दूसरा संशोधन ) नियम, 2001 के नियम 1 के उपनियम ( ii ) के खंड ( ख ) द्वारा पदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, 1 अप्रैल , 2003 को उस तारीख के रूप में नियत करती है, जिसको केन्द्रीय मोटरयान ( दूसरा संशोधन ) नियम, 2001 के उपबंध चार पहियों वाले यानों की बाबत कानपुर और पूना में प्रवृत होंगे :
परन्तु यह कि केन्द्रीय मोटरयान ( दूसरा संशोधन ) नियम, 2001 के उपबंध इम अधिसूचना के प्रभावी होने से यथास्थिति, कानपुर से उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य के अन्य भागों में या पूना से महाराष्ट्र राज्य के अन्य भागों में चलने वाले या उक्त शहरों की राज्य क्षेत्रीय अधिकारिता के भीतर अन्तर- राज्यीय अनुज्ञप्तियों या राष्ट्रीय अनुजप्तियों या अखिल भारतीय पर्यटक अनुज्ञप्तियों पर चलने वाले " चार पहियों वाले परिवहन यानों " की बाबत प्रवृत्त नहीं होगें ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 4th September, 2002
S.O. 940 ( E) . In exercise of powers conferred by clause ( b ) of sub - rule ( ii ) of rule 1 of the Central Motor Vehicles (2nd Amendment ) Rules , 2001 , the Central Government hereby appoints 1st April , 2003 as the date on which the provisions of Central Motor Vehicles ( 2nd Amendment ) Rules . 2001 shall corne into force in Kanpur and Pune in respect of four wheeled vehicles .
Provided that the provisions of the Central Motor Vehicles ( 2nd Amendment ) Rules , 2001 shall not come into force with the effect of this notification in respect of the " Four whceled transport vehicles " plying from Kanpur to the other parts of the State of Uttar Pradesh or Pune to the other parts of the State of Maharashtra , as the case may be , or plying on Inter- State Permits or National Pernuts or on the All India Tourist Permits within the territorial jurisdiction of the said citics .
