The powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Number S.O.58(E), dated the 20th January, 2001, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby authorizes the officers mentioned in column (2)
