5. उक्त स्कीम के खंड 12 के उप- खंड ( 5 ) में " या खंड .(घ) " शब्दों और कोष्ठकों का लोप किया जाएगा ।
का.आ. 251(अ).- केन्द्रीय सरकार , बैंककारी कंपनी (उपक्रमों का अर्जन और अंतरण) अधिनियम , 1970 ( 1970 का 5) की धारा 9 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , 'भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक से परामर्श करने के पश्चात् राष्ट्रीयकृत बैंक ( प्रबंध और प्रकीर्ण उपबंध ) स्कीम , 1970 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित स्कीम बनाती है , अर्थात्:-
6. उक्तस्कीम के खंड 13 के उप- खंड (2 ) में , 1. ( 1 ) इस स्कीम का संक्षिप्त नाम राष्ट्रीयकृत बैंक ( प्रबंध और प्रकीर्ण उपबंध ) संशोधन स्कीम , 2007 है ।
(2) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होगी ।
(क) मद संख्या (ग ) में " कार्यकारी निदेशक " शब्दों के स्थान पर " कार्यकारी निदेशक/निदेशकों" शब्द रखे जाएंगे;
2. राष्ट्रीयकृत बैंक ( प्रबंध और प्रकीर्ण उपबंध ) स्कीम , 1970 (जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात् " उक्त स्कीम " कहा गया है) के खंड 4 के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित खंड अंतःस्थापित किया जाएगा , अर्थात्:--
(ख) मद संख्या (घ ) में " खंड (ख ) , खंड (ग ) और खंड (छ) " शब्दों, कोष्ठकों और अक्षरों के स्थान पर " खंड (छ) " शब्द और कोष्ठक रखे जाएंगे;
(ग) मद संख्या (ड. ) में " एक निदेशक " शब्दों के स्थान पर " तीन निदेशक " शब्द रखे जाएंगे ।
7. उक्त स्कीम के खंड 17 में,-
(क) उप- खंड ( 1 ) में " या अधिनियम की धारा 9 की उप- धारा (3 ) के खंड (घ ) में निर्दिष्ट कोई निदेशक " शब्दों, अंकों और कोष्ठकों का लोप किया जाएगा ;
" 4क. अधिक निर्वाचित निदेशक की निवृत्ति की रीति अधिनियम की धारा 9 की उप- धारा ( 3 ) के खंड ( i) के दूसरे परंतुक के अधीन अवधारित अधिक निदेशकों की संख्या और अंशधारकों ( केन्द्रीय सरकार से भिन्न) द्वारा ऐसे निर्वाचित निदेशकों की समान संख्या अवधारित होगी , जिनकी निवृत्ति इस प्रकार अवधारित कीजाएगी और 'उस क्रम में जिससे निदेशक निवृत्त होंगे , वह अधिकतम सेवा करने वाले निदेशकों से प्रारंभ हो सकेगी:
(ख) उप-खंड ( 2 ) में " प्रत्येक ऐसे निदेशक को फीस के अतिरिक्त जिसका कोई निदेशक हकदार हैं, उप - धारा (1) के अधीन संदत्त होगी " शब्दों, कोष्ठकों और परन्तु यदि दो या अधिक निदेशक जिन्होंने समान समय की अवधि के लिए सेवा की है , उक्त निदेशकों में अधिक आयु का निदेशक पहले सेवानिवृत्त होगा । "

Government, after consultation with the Reserve Bank of India , hereby makes the following scheme further to amend the Nationalized Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme , 1970 , namely :-

1. (1) This scheme may be called the Nationalized Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) (Amendment) Scheme, 2007.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 19th February, 2007
S.O. 252(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer ofUndertakings ) Act, 1980 (40 of 1980) , the Central Government , after consultation with the Reserve Bank of India, hereby makes the following scheme further to amend the Nationalized Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1980, namely: --

6. Inthe said scheme , in clause 13 , in sub - clause (2 )---
