का.आ. 24(अ) - केन्द्रीय सरकार, ऊर्जा संरक्षण अधिनियम, 2001 (2001 का 52) की धारा 14 के खंड (क) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए ऊर्जा दक्षता ब्यूरो से परामर्श करने के पश्चात भारत सरकार के विद्युत मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना सं ० का.आ.181 (अ) तारीख 12 जनवरी, 2009 में निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है, अर्थात् : --
उक्त अधिसूचना में, --
(i) " घरेलू प्रयोग के लिए 9000 किलो कैलारी/ घंटा निर्धारित क्षमता वाले " शब्द जहां-जहां वे आते हैं, के स्थान पर "जो गवाक्ष वातानुकूलक और 10465 वाट (9000 किलो कैलोरी/ घंटा) के निर्धारित शीतलन क्षमता तक 1 : 1 ऊंची दीवार स्पलिट वातानुकूलक प्रकार के हैं" शब्द रखे जाएंगे
(ii ) पैरा 2, के उपपैरा (1) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित उपपैरा रखा जाएगा , अर्थात् :-
"सितारा रेटिंग या सितारा स्तर योजना ( 1 ) कक्ष वातानुकूलक का सितारा स्तर का अवधारण ऊर्जा दक्षता अनुपात द्वारा किया जाएगा जो इसके विनिर्माण वर्ष या आयात या विक्रय के आधार पर निम्नलिखित सारणी 2.1 अथवा 2.2 अथवा 2.3 से अभिप्राप्त किया जा सकेगा अर्थात : --

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 5th January, 2010
S.O. 24 ( E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( a) of section 14 ofthe Energy Conservation Act , 2001 (52 of 2001 ) , the Central Government in consultation with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India , in the Ministry of Power number S.O 181 ( E ) , dated the 12th January, 2009, namely: -
In the said notification , -
(i) for the words " for household use upto a rated cooling capacity of 9000 kcal /hour " , wherever they occur, the words " which are of window air conditioner and 1: 1 high wall split air conditioner type up to a rated cooling capacity of 10,465 Watts ( 9000 kcal /hour) " shall be substituted;
(ii) for sub - paragraph ( 1 ) of paragraph 2, the following sub - paragraph shall be substituted, namely: -
"Star rating . or star level plan .-( 1 ) The star level of the room air conditioner shall be determined by Energy Efficiency Ratio which shall be obtained from the following Table 2.1 or 2.2 or 2.3 , depending on the year of manufacturing or import or sale, namely: -

का.आ. 25(अ) .- केन्द्रीय सरकार, ऊर्जा संरक्षण अधिनियम 2001 (2001 का 52) , की धारा. 14 के खंड (क) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , ऊर्जा दक्षता ब्यूरो से परामर्श करने के पश्चात भारत सरकार के विद्युत मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना सं ० का. आ . 183 (अ) तारीख 12 जनवरी, 2009 में निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है, अर्थात् : --
उक्त अधिसूचना में , पैरा 2 के उपपैरा (1 ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित उप पैरा रखा जाएगा, अर्थात : --
" सितारा रेटिंग बैंड अथवा सितारा स्तर योजना (1 ) घरेलू फ्रास्ट फ्री प्रशीतक का सितारा लेबल (स्टार लेबल) पैरामीटर कानस्टेन्ट मल्टीप्लायर (कि.वा.घंटा/ लीटर/ वर्ष)- knf और कान्स्टेन्ट फिक्सड एलॉऊन्स ( कि.वा. घंटा/ वर्ष) Cnf के आधार पर निर्धारित होता है जो विनिर्माण वर्ष , या आयात या विक्रय तथा तुलनात्मक ऊर्जा खपत ( सीईसी) के आधार पर निम्नलिखित सारणी 2.1 या 2.2 या 2.3 से अभिप्राप्त किया जाएगा और घरेलू फ्रास्ट फ्री प्रशीतकों के लिए कुल समायोजित [ भाग II - खण्ड 3 (ii) ]

"Star rating band or star level plan.- ( 1 ) The star level of the household frost free refrigerator shall be determined on the basis of star level parameters constant multiplier ( kWh/Litre /Year ) Knf and constant fixed allowance (kWh /Year ) - Cnf which shall be obtained from the following Table 2.1 or 2.2 or 2.3 , depending on the year of manufacturing or import or sale and the comparative energy consumption ( CEC ) and total adjusted storage volume for household frost free refrigerators ( Vadj_tot_nf) shall be used to determine the star rating band and star rating of the model , namely: -
