Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), read with clause 5 of the Sugar (Control) Order, 1966, the Central Government hereby directs that no recognized dealer of sugar shall hold any stock of vacuum pan sugar or khandsari ( open pan sugar) for a period exceeding thirty days from the date of receipt by him of such stock and shall not keep in stock at any time vacuum pan sugar or khandsari sugar, in the places mentioned below, in excess of quantities mentioned against each-
