The Central Govt. has decided to observe the 25 day of January, every year, being the Election Commission foundation day, as the National Voters Day beginning from this year, throughout the country without declaring it as a holiday and to provide to the new voters with Elector Photo Identity Cards and badges with a logo depicting the slogan Proud to be a voter-ready to Vote in a brief ceremony in a befitting manner to be organised by the Election Commission for the purpose.
