का.आ. 354( अ ).उपभोक्ता संरक्षण अधिनियम, 1986 (1986 का 68 ) की धारा 20 की उप - धारा ( 3 ) के साथ पठित उप -धारा ( 1 ) के खण्ड ( ख ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार , चयन समिति की सिफारिश पर , एतद्वारा डॉ. बी. सी. गुप्ता, आई.ए.एस. ( सेवानिवृत्त ) को समय - समय पर यथा- संशोधित उपभोक्ता संरक्षण नियम , 1987 के साथ पठित उपभोक्ता संरक्षण अधिनियम , 1986 में निर्धारित शर्तों पर , 30 जनवरी , 2013 के अपरान्ह से पांच वर्ष की अवधि के लिए अथवा उनके 70 वर्ष की आयु के हो जाने तक , जो भी पहले हो , राष्ट्रीय उपभोक्ता विवाद प्रतितोष आयोग के पूर्णकालिक सदस्य के रूप में नियुक्त करती है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 12th February, 2013
S.O. 354( E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of Sub - section ( 1 ) read with Sub- section (3 ) ofSection 20 of the Consumer Protection Act , 1986 ( 68 of 1986) , the Central Government , on the recommendation of the Selection Committee , hereby appoints Dr. B. C. Gupta , IAS ( Retd. ) as whole- time Member of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission with effect from the afternoon of 30th January, 2013 , for a period of five years , or until he attains the age of 70 years , whichever is earlier, on the terms and conditions prescribed in the Consumer Protection Act , 1986 read with the Consumer Protection Rules , 1987 as amended from time to time.
