Central Government, on the recommendation of the Selection Committee, hereby appoints Dr. B. C. Gupta, IAS (Retd.) as whole-time Member of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission with effect from the afternoon of 30th January, 2013, for a period of five years, or until he attains the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier, on the terms and conditions prescribed in the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 read with the Consumer Protection Rules, 1987 as amended from time to time.
