का.आ. 378( अ ), महापत्तन न्यास अधिनियम , 1963 ( 1963 का 38 ) की धारा 66 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) और ( 3 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा केन्द्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर बोर्ड की दिनांक 6 नवम्बर , 2012 की अधिसूचना सं.46/2012/ फॉइल सं. 178/60/2012 ( आई टी ए-1 ) की शर्तों के अनुसार पब्लिक इश्यू रूट और/अथवा प्राइवेट प्लेसमेंट रूट के माध्यम से कुल 2,000 करोड़ रु. की राशि ( " बाँड " ) तक , यथा संशोधित आयकर अधिनियम , 1961 की धारा 10 ( 15 ) ( iv ) ( ज ) के तहत कर लाभ प्राप्त करने वाले सुरक्षित विमोच्य गैर - परिवर्तनीय बाँडों के रूप में जवाहर लाल नेहरू पत्तन न्यास द्वारा कर - मुक्त बाँड जारी किए जाने को अनुमोदित करती है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 15th February, 2013
S.O. 378 (E) .-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1) and (3 ) of Section 66 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 ( 38 of 1963) , the Central Government hereby approves the issue of tax free bonds by the Jawahar Lal Nehru Port Trust in the nature of secured redeemable non- convertible bonds having tax benefits under Section 10 ( 15)(iv)(h ) ofthe Income TaxAct, 1961 , as amended, upto an aggregate amount of Rs . 2,000 crores (the "Bonds " ) through public issue route and/or private placement route in accordance with the terms ofthe Central Board ofDirect Taxes notification No. 46/2012/F.No . 178/ 60/2012( ITA.1) dated November 6 , 2012.
