New Delhi, the 12th November, 2013
S.O. 3433(E).—Whereas, by notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services, number S.O. 2592(E), dated the 23rd August, 2013, issued under sub-section (1) of Section 23 A of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government has notified for amalgamation of Pragathi Gramin Bank and Krishna Grameena Bank (Regional Rural Banks) sponsored by the Canara Bank and State Bank of India into a single Regional Rural Bank called as "Pragathi Krishna Gramin Bank" under the sponsorship of the Canara Bank with its Head Office at "Bellary".
Now, therefore, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 23D of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976), hereby directs that with effect from the 23rd August, 2013, the Pragathi Gramin Bank and the Krishna Grameena Bank, which by reason of amalgamation have ceased to function, shall stand dissolved and shall take effect notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in Section 26 of the said Act.

ूयोग करते हुए, एतद्द्वारा, िनदेश देती है (cid:7)क 02 िसत=बर, 2013 से छ7ीसगढ़ मामीण ब(cid:29)क, सरगुजा $ेऽीय मामीण ब(cid:29)क और दुगB राजनंदगांव मामीण ब(cid:29)क, जो समामेलन के प1रणामःव3प कायB करना समाC कर चुके ह(cid:29), भंग हुए माने जाएंगे और यह उ, अिधिनयम कD धारा 26 म4 िन(cid:7)हत (cid:7)कसी भी +वपर(cid:24)त बात के होते हुए भी, ूभावी होगा ।

S.O. 3434(E).—Whereas, by notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services, number S.O. 2657(E), dated the 2nd September, 2013, issued under sub-section (1) of Section 23 A of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government has notified for amalgamation of Chhattisgarh Gramin Bank, Surguja Kshetriya Gramin Bank and Durg Rajnandgaon Gramin Bank (Regional Rural Banks) sponsored by the State Bank of India, Central Bank of India and Dena Bank into a single Regional Rural Bank called as "Chhattisgarh Rajya Gramin Bank" under the sponsorship of the State Bank of India with its Head Office at "Raipur".
Now, therefore, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 23D of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976), hereby directs that with effect from the 2nd September, 2013, the Chhattisgarh Gramin Bank, Surguja Kshetriya Gramin Bank and Durg Rajnandgaon Gramin Bank, which by reason of amalgamation have ceased to function, shall stand dissolved and shall take effect notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in Section 26 of the said Act.
