सा.का.नि. 01 (अ) .- भारतीय पत्तन अधिनियम, 1908 ( 1908 का खण्ड 15) की धारा 3 तथा धारा 4 के अन्तर्गत प्रदत शक्तियों का उपयोग करते हुए केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा घोषणा करती है कि दुगाराजापटनम पत्तन एक महा- पत्तन होगा और इस पत्तन की सीमाएं तथा विस्तार निम्नवत् होंगी , नामतः: -
उत्तरः-
बिन्दु 14° 07 ′ 12 ″ उत्तर से जोड़ने वाली एक रेखा 80° 07 ′ 51 ″ पूर्व की ओर उत्तर - पूर्व बिन्दु के 14° 08 ′ 59.7 " उत्तर, 80 ° 20 ′ 13″ (पूर्व)
दक्षिणः-
बिन्दु 13° 56′ 33 उत्तर से जोड़ने वाली रेखा 80 ° 11 ' 21 ' पूर्व से पूर्व की ओर 13 ° 56′32 ″ उत्तर 80° 21 ' 48" पूर्व
पूर्वः- बिन्दु 14° 08′ 59.7 " को जोड़ने वाली एक रेखा , उत्तर 80° 20′ 36″ पूर्व की ओर बिन्दु 14 ° 08 ′ 59.7 " उत्तर, 80 ° 28' 36" पूर्व तथा पश्चिम की ओर 13 ° 56′ 32 ″ उत्तर 80 ° 22′ 11 "
पश्चिमः- बिन्दु 13° 56′ 32 ″ उत्तर को जोड़ने वाली एक रेखा, 80° 22 ′ 11 ″ पूर्व की ओर उत्तरी बिन्दु के 14° 08′ 59.7 " उत्तर , 80 ° 20' 36 " पूर्व और पश्चिम की ओर बिन्दु 13 ° 56′ 33 ″ उत्तर, 80 ° 11 ′ 21 ″ पूर्व नोट:- 'तट' से अभिप्राय जैसा कि भारतीय पत्तन अधिनियम , 1908 की धारा 4 की उप- धारा (4 ) के अन्तर्गत कहा गया है जल का उच्च मार्क है अर्थात् वह उच्चतम बिन्दु जहाँ तक वर्ष के किसी भी मौसम के दौरान सामान्य वृहत ज्वार में पानी की उछाल जाती है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 31st December , 2013
G.S.R. 01 (E) . In partial modification of Notification dated 16-09-2013 and in exercise of the powers conferred by Clause ( 8) of Section 3 and Section 4 of the Indian Ports Act , 1908 (15 of 1908 ) , the Central Government hereby declares that the Dugarajapatnam Port shall be a Major Port and that the extent of the limits of the said Port shall be as follows , namely : -
NORTH :
A line joining from a point of 14 ° 07′12 ″ N , 80° 07'51 " E towards North- East Point of 14° 08'59.7 " N , 80 ° 20'13 " E
SOUTH :
A line joining from a point of 13 ° 56'33 " N , 80 ° 11'21 " E towards East point of 13 ° 56'32 " Ν, 80 ° 21'48 " E
EAST :
A line joining from a point of 14 ° 08′59.7 " N, 80° 20'36 " E towards West point of 14° 08'59.7 " N , 80 ° 20'13 " E and South towards 13 ° 56'32 " N , 80 ° 22'11 " E
WEST :
A line joining from a point of 13 ° 56'32 " N, 80° 22'11 " E towards North point of 14 ° 08'59.7 " N , 80 ° 20'36 " E and towards West point of 13 ° 56'33 " N , 80 ° 11'21 " E Note : The ' shore ' is intended to mean high watermark as defined in sub- section (4) of Section 4 of the Indian Ports Act , 1908 , i.e. , the highest point reached by ordinary spring tides at any season of the year .
