A method for manufacturing gasoline grade hydrocarbon products from an alkoxy compound by contacting an alkoxy compound with an MTG catalyst, comprising the steps'of (i) employing successive reaction zones (reactors) containing an MTG catalyst,

(ii) combining the effluent product gas, obtained in the manner such as herein described, from a first MTG reaction zone (reactor) which is at a temperature TR' such as herein described, with a new charge of feed gas consisting of

(a) an alkoxy compound, and

the diluent gas composition is ol a temperature aud. composition and is present in an amouni ihut (a) provides for the combined gas stream to have a temperature of from about 650"F to about 72O"F (b) provides lor the combined gas stream to have specific heat content that limits temperatuie increase of the gas stream to less than 150"F upon reaction of the alkoxy compound conienl thereof to hydrocarbon compounds, and (c) provides for a total water content following reaction of the alkoxy compound to hydrocarbon compounds that does not exceed a partial pressure of water (as steam) 2 2 ata, and

(in) contacting the combined gas stream, so obtained with an MTG catalyst in a succeeding reaction zone (reactor) to form a new effluent pioduct gas, (IV) combining said new effluent product gas, so obtained from a preceding MTG reaction zone (reactor) which is at a temperature TR' such as herein described, with new charge of feed gas as defined in step (n), and repeating step (in), and also

(v) repeating step (iv), if needed, with new effluent having a partial pressure of water not exceeding product gjs/ obtained each time from preceding MTG 2 2 ata, reaction zone (reactor) in a continuous mannei through several succeeding reaction /ones (reactors) till final effluent product gas is obtained I mm which gasoline grade hydrocarbon product ol desired composition is derived in the manner such as herein described

An integrated process for producing epoxides comprising (a) reacting a Ca-C4 secondary alcohol and molecular oxygen in a liquid phase to form an oxidant mixture comprised of the Ca-C4 secondary alcohol, a C,-C4 aliphatic ketone corresponding to the C1-C4 secondary alcohol, and hydrogen peroxide;

(b) separating substantially all of the C,-C4 ketone from the oxidant mixture to provide a concentrated hydrogen peroxide-containing stream comprised of C1-C4 secondary alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, and less than 1 weight percent C7-C4 ketone;

(c) reacting the concentrated hydrogen peroxide containing stream with a C,-C_, olefin in the presence ol a titanium silicalilc catalyst and a diluent to lorni an epoxidation reaction mixtuie comprised of a C,-C_, cpoxide corresponding to the C2-C^ olefin, water, and C,-Cj secondary alcohol,

(d) separating substantially all of the C,-C4 epoxide from the epoxidation reaction mixture to form a crude alcohol stream comprised of water, the 0.,-C, secondary alcohol, characterised in that said crude alcohol stream contains less than I weight percent of the C -C, epoxide, and at least a portion (such as herein described) ol ihc said crude alcohol stream is recycled for use as at least a portion ol the diluent in step (c), and, optionally, hydrogenating the C,- C4 ketoene, separated from the oxidant mixture in step (b), to C -C secondary alcohol
