(i) यह पद स्थायी है किन्तु वह नियुक्ति की तिथि से 2 वर्ष की अवधि के लिए परिवीक्षा पर रहेंगी जिसे सक्षम अधिकारी के निर्णय पर बढ़ाया जा सकता है । परिवीक्षा की अवधि के दौरान उन्हें उन प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमों में भाग लेना होगा और परीक्षाएं देनी होंगी जिसे सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित किया जाएगा । परिवीक्षा अवधि के भीतर निर्धारित परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण न करने पर उन्हें यथा स्थिति या तो सेवा मुक्त कर दिया जाएगा या अपने उस मूल पद पर प्रत्यावर्तित कर दिया जाएगा जिस पद पर वे लियन पर हैं ।
