सा.का.नि. 229.—केन्द्रीय सरकार, सशस्त्र सीमा बल अधिनियम, 2007 (2007 का 53) की धारा 155 की उप-धारा (2) के खंड (क) और (ग) के साथ पठित उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए सशस्त्र सीमा बल योधक चिकित्सा काडर (अ-व्यवसायिक) समूह 'ख' और समूह 'ग' पद भर्ती नियम, 2012 का संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्‌ :-

1. (1) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम सशस्त्र सीमा बल योधक चिकित्सा काडर (अ-व्यवसायिक) समूह 'ख' और समूह 'ग' पद भर्ती (संशोधन) नियम, 2017 है।

(2) ये राजपत्र में उनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त हाेंगे। 2. सशस्त्र सीमा बल योधक चिकित्सा काडर (अ-व्यावसायिक) समूह 'ख' और समूह 'ग' पद भर्ती नियम, 2012 (जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात्‌ उक्त नियम कहा गया है) में, नियम 3 के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित नियम रखा जाएगा, अर्थात्‌ः-

(क) उप निरीक्षक (चिकित्सा) के पद से संबंधित क्रम संख्याक 1 के सामने,-

(अ) स्तंभ (4) में,-

(i) शीर्षक के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित शीर्षक रखा जाएगा, अर्थात्‌ :-

"वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर" ;

(ii) विद्यमान प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि रखी जाएगी जाएगी, अर्थात्‌ः-

"स्तर-6 (35400-112400 रु.)" ।

(आ) स्तंभ (11) में,-

(i) उप शीर्षक "प्रोन्नति" शीर्षक के अधीन, टिप्पण 2 का लोप किया जाएगा;

(ii) उप शीर्षक "प्रतिनियुक्ति" के अधीन, टिप्पण 4 का लोप किया जाएगा;

(ख) सहायक उप-निरीक्षक (चिकित्सा) के पद से संबंधित क्रम संख्याक 2 के सामने, -

(अ) स्तंभ (4) के अधीन प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएगी, अर्थातः- "स्तर-5 (29200-92300 रु.)" ;

(आ) स्तंभ (11) में, (i) उप शीर्षक "प्रोन्नति" के अधीन, टिप्पण 2 का लोप किया जाएगा; (ii) उप शीर्षक "प्रतिनियुक्ति के अधीन, टिप्पण 4 का लोप किया जाएगा;

(ग) हैड कांस्टेबल (चिकित्सा) के पद से संबंधित क्रम संख्याक 3 के सामने,-

(अ) स्तंभ (4) के अधीन प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएगी, अर्थातः-

"स्तर-4 (25500-81100 रु.)" ;

(आ) स्तंभ (11) में,-

(I) उप शीर्षक "प्रोन्नति" के अधीन,- (i) शब्दों, अंकों और अक्षरों के स्थान पर " वेतन बैंड-1 5200-20200 रु. + ग्रेड वेतन 2000 रु." शब्द, अंक और अक्षर "वेतन मैट्रिक्स (21700-69100 रु.) में स्तर-3" रखे जाएंगे;

(ii) टिप्पण 2 का लोप किया जाएगा;

(II) उप शीर्षक "प्रतिनियुक्ति" के अधीन टिप्पण 4 का लोप किया जाएगा ।

G.S.R. 229.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clauses (a) and (c) of sub-section (2) of section 155 of the Sashastra Seema Bal Act, 2007 (53 of 2007), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Sashastra Seema Bal Combatised Medics Cadre ( Non-professional) Group 'B' and 'C' posts Recruitment Rules, 2012, namely:—

1. (1) These rules may be called the Sashastra Seema Bal Combatised Medics Cadre (Non-professional) Group 'B' and 'C' posts Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Sashastra Seema Bal Combatised Medics Cadre (Non-professional) Group 'B' and 'C' posts Recruitment Rules, 2012 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), for rule 3, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:—

"3. Number of posts, classification and level in the pay matrix.—The number of posts, their classification and level in the pay matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in column (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules." ;

(3) In the said rules, in the Schedule,—

(a) against serial number 1 relating to the post of Sub-Inspector (Medic),—

(A) in column (4),-

(i) for the heading , the following heading shall be substituted, namely:-

"Level in the pay matrix." ;

(ii) for the existing entry, the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-

" Level-6 (Rs. 35400-112400/-).".

(B) in column (11),—

(i) under sub-heading "Promotion", Note 2 shall be omitted;

(ii) under sub-heading "Deputation", Note 4 shall be omitted;

(b) against serial number 2 relating to the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector(Medic) ,-

(A) for the entries under column (4), the following entries shall be substituted, namely:—

" Level-5 (Rs. 29200-92300/-)" ;

(B) in column (11),—

(i) under sub-heading "Promotion", Note 2 shall be omitted ;

(ii) under sub-heading " Deputation", Note 4 shall be omitted;

(c) against serial number 3 relating to the post of Head Constable (Medic),-

(A) for the entries under column (4), the following entries shall be substituted, namely :-

" Level-4 (Rs. 25500-81100/-)" ;

(B) in column (11),—

(I) under sub-heading "Promotion",—

(i) for the words, figures and Letters "Pay Band-1, Rs.5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.2000" , the words, figures and Letters " level-3 in the pay matrix (Rs. 21700-69100/-)" shall be substituted;

(ii) Note 2 shall be omitted;

(II) under sub-heading "Deputation", Note-4 shall be omitted.

राष्ट्रपति, संविधान के अनुच्छेद 309 के परन्तुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए विधि और न्याय मंत्रालय, विधायी विभाग, विधि साहित्य प्रकाशन में बहु-कार्य कर्मचारिवृंद (एम. टी. एस.) समूह 'ग' पद भर्ती नियम, 2013 को अधिक्रांत करते हुए विधि और न्याय मंत्रालय, विधायी विभाग, विधि साहित्य प्रकाशन में बहु-कार्य कर्मचारिवृंद के पद पर भर्ती की पद्धति विनियमन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते हैं, अर्थात्‌- 1. (1) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम विधि और न्याय मंत्रालय, विधायी विभाग, विधि साहित्य प्रकाशन में बहु-कार्य कर्मचारिवृंद (समूह 'ग' पद) भर्ती नियम, 2017 है।

(2) ये राजपत्र में उनके प्रकाशन की तारीख से प्रवृत्त होंगे।

पदों की संख्या, उनका वर्गीकरण उनसे संलग्न वेतन मैट्रिक्स में लेवल वे 2. होंगे, जो इन नियमों से उपाबद्ध अनुसूची के स्तंभ (2) से स्तंभ (4) विनिर्दिष्ट हैं।

उक्त पद पर भर्ती की पद्धति, आयु-सीमा, अर्हताएं और उससे संबंधित अन्य 3. बातें वे होंगी, जो उक्त अनुसूची के स्तंभ (5) से (13) में विनिर्दिष्ट हैं।

4. वह व्यक्ति,- (क) जिसने ऐसे व्यक्ति से, जिनका पति या जिनकी पत्नी जीवित हैं, विवाह किया हैं, या

(ख) जिसने अपने पति या अपनी पत्नी के जीवित रहते हुए किसी व्यक्ति से विवाह किया है, उक्त पद पर भर्ती का पात्र नहीं होगा :

परन्तु यदि केन्द्रीय सरकार का यह समाधान हो जाता है कि ऐसा विवाह उस व्यक्ति और विवाह के अन्य पक्षकार को लागू स्वीय विधि के अधीन अनुज्ञेय है और ऐसा करने के लिए अन्य आधार है तो वह किसी व्यक्ति को इस नियम के प्रवर्तन से छूट दे सकेगी।

5. जहां केन्द्रीय सरकार की यह राय है कि ऐसा करना आवश्यक या समीचीन है, वहां वह उसके लिए जो कारण है, उन्हें लेखबद्ध करके इन नियमों के किसी उपबंध को किसी वर्ग या प्रवर्ग के व्यक्तियों की वाबत आदेश द्वारा शिथिल कर सकेगी।

6. इन नियमों की कोई बात, ऐसे आरक्षणों, आयु-सीमा में छूट और अन्य रियायतों पर प्रभाव नहीं डालेगी, जिनका केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा इस संबंध में समय-समय पर जारी किए गए आदेशों के अनुसार अनुसूचित जातियों, अनुसूचित जनजातियों, अन्य पिछड़े वर्गों प्रभूतपूर्व सैनिकों और अन्य विशेष प्रवर्ग के व्यक्तियों के लिए उपबंध करना अपेक्षित है।

G.S.R. 230.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in suppression of the Ministry of Law and Justice, Legislative Department, Vidhi Sahitya Prakashan, Multi Tasking Staff. Group 'C' Posts Recruitment Rules, 2013, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Multi Tasking Staff in the Ministry of Law and Justice, Legislative Department, Vidhi Sahitya Prakashan, namely:—

1. Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Law and Justice, Legislative Department, Vidhi Sahitya Prakashan, Multi Tasking Staff (Group 'C' post) Recruitment Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Number of posts, classification and level in pay matrix.—The number of post, its classification and level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.

3. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualification, etc.—The method of recruitment to the said post, age-limit, qualification and other matters relating thereto shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.

4. Disqualification.— No person,-

(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or

(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,

shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.

5. Power to relax.—Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient to do so, it may, by order, and for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.

6. Saving.—Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Ex-Servicemen or any other special category of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.

2. मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्रालय, उच्चतर शिक्षा विभाग (लेखा लिपिक) भर्ती नियम, 2010 में—

(क) नियम 2 में, ''वेतनमान'' शब्दों के स्थान पर, ''वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर'' और ''ग्रेड वेतन/वेतनमान'' शब्दों के स्थान पर क्रमश:" ''वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर'' शब्द रखे जाएंगे;

(ख) अनुसूची के स्तंभ (4) में, शीर्षक के स्थान पर ''वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर'' और प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर ''वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर 4 (25,500-81,100 रु.)'' क्रमश रखा जाएगा।

(ग) स्तंभ (12) में, ''प्रतिनियुक्ति'' उप शीर्षक के अधीन, (ii) प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित रखा जाएगा, अर्थात्:—

''वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर 3 (21,700-69,100 रुपए)'' या समतुल्य में क पदों में पांच वर्ष नियमित सेवा की हो या वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर 2 (19,900-63,200 रुपए) या समतुल्य के पदों में आठ वर्ष नियमित सेवा की हो''

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education (Accounts Clerk) Recruitment Rules, 2010,—

(a) in rule2, for the words "Scale of Pay", the words "Level in the Pay Matrix" and for the words "Pay band and Grade Pay/Pay Scale", the words " Level in the Pay Matrix" shall respectively be substituted;

(b) in the Schedule, in column (4), for the heading, the heading "Level in the Pay matrix" and for the entries, the entries " Level 4 (Rs. 25,500 – 81,100) in the Pay matrix" shall respectively be substituted.

(c) in column (12), under the sub-heading " Deputation", for the entries in (ii), the following shall be substituted namely:—

"with five years regular service in posts in the Level 3 (Rs. 21,700 – 69,100) in the Pay Matrix or equivalent or with eight years regular service in posts in the Level 2 (Rs. 19,900 – 63,200) in the Pay Matrix or equivalent".

1. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारंभ.—(1) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्रालय, उच्चतर शिक्षा विभाग, स्टाफ कार ड्राइवर (श्रेणी I, श्रेणी II और साधारण श्रेणी) भर्ती (संशोधन) नियम, 2017 है।

(2) ये राजपत्र में इनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।

2. मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्रालय, उच्चतर शिक्षा विभाग, स्टाफ कार ड्राइवर (श्रेणी I, श्रेणी II और साधारण श्रेणी) भर्ती नियम, 2015 में—

(क) नियम 2 में "वेतन बैंड और ग्रेड वेतन या वेतनमान" शब्दों के स्थान पर जहां जहां वे आते हैं, "वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर" शब्द रखे जाएंगे;

(ख) अनुसूची में—

(i) स्टाफ कार ड्राइवर ग्रेड-I के पद से संबंधित प्रविष्टियों में-

(अ) स्तंभ (4) में शीर्षक के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित शीर्षक रखा जाएगा अर्थात्:—

"वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर";

(आ) स्तंभ (4) के अधीन की प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएंगी, अर्थात्:—

"वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर-5";

(इ) स्तंभ (11) के अधीन "वेतन बैंड-1 (5,200-20,200/-रु.) + ग्रेड वेतन 2400/-रु." प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टी रखी जाएगी, अर्थात्:-

(आ) स्तंभ (11) के अधीन "वेतन बैंड-1 5,200-20,200/-रु.+ ग्रेड वेतन 1900/-रु." प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि रखी जाएगी, अर्थात्:—

"वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर-2";

(iii) स्टाफ कार ड्राइवर (साधारण श्रेणी) के पद से संबंधित प्रविष्टियों में—

(अ) स्तंभ (4) के अधीन की प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि रखी जाएगी, अर्थात्:—

"वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर-2";

(आ) स्तंभ (11) के अधीन प्रतिनियुक्ति या आमेलन से संबंधित पैराग्राफ में "वेतन बैंड-1 (5,200 रु.-20,200 रु.)+ ग्रेड वेतन 1800/-रु." के स्थान पर जहां जहां वे आते हैं दोनों स्थानों पर क्रमशः निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि रखी जाएगी, अर्थात्:—

G.S.R. 233.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education, Staff Car Driver (Grade I, Grade II and Ordinary Grade) Recruitment Rules, 2015, namely:—

1. Short title and commencement .—(1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education, Staff Car Driver (Grade I, Grade II and Ordinary Grade) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education, Staff Car Driver (Grade I, Grade II and Ordinary Grade) Recruitment Rules, 2015, —

(a) in rule 2, for the words "Pay Band and Grade Pay or Scale of Pay" and "Pay Band and Grade Pay or the Scale of Pay" where ever they occur, the words "Level in the Pay Matrix" shall be substituted;

(b) in the Schedule,—

(i) in the entries relating to the post of Staff Car Driver Grade-I, —

(A) in column (4), for the heading, the following heading shall be substituted, namely:—

"Level in the Pay Matrix";

(B) for the entry under column (4), the following entries shall be substituted, namely:—

"Level – 5 in the Pay Matrix",

(C) Under column (11), for the entry "Pay Band (Rs.5200-20200) plus Grade Pay of Rs.2400/-", the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-

"Level- 4 in the Pay Matrix";

(ii) in the entries relating to the post of Staff Car Driver Grade –II,—

(A) for the entry under column (4), the following entry shall be substituted, namely:—

"Level - 4 in the Pay Matrix";

(B) under column (11), for the entry "Pay Band-1, (Rs.5200-20200) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 1900/-'', the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-

"Level-2 in the Pay Matrix";

(iii) in the entries relating to the post of Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade),—

(A) for the entry under column (4), the following entry shall be substituted, namely:—

"Level - 2 in the Pay Matrix";

(B) under column (11), in the paragraph relating to Deputation or Absorption, for the entry "Pay Band-1, (Rs.5200-20200) plus Grade Pay of Rs.1800/-", occurring at both the places, the following entry shall respectively be substituted, namely:—

"Level-1 in the Pay Matrix";

(2) ये राजपत्र में उनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।

2. के न्द्रीय लोक निर्माण विभाग, (अधीनस्थ कार्यालय) आशुलिपिक ग्रेड-II (समूह 'ग') भर्ती नियम, 2012 में,—

(1) नियम 3 के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित नियम रखा जाएगा, अर्थात्:—

''पद की संख्या, वर्गीकरण तथा वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर.—उक्त पद की संख्या, उसका वर्गीकरण और वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर वह होगा,जो इन नियमों से उपाबद्ध अनुसूची के स्तंभ (2) से स्तंभ (4) में विर्निदिष्ट है।''

(II) अनुसूची में,—

(i) स्तंभ (4) के शीर्षक के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित शीर्षक रखा जाएगा,

अर्थात् :—

''वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर'';

(ii) स्तंभ (4) के अधीन प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि रखी जाएगी:—

अर्थात् :—

''स्तर 4'';

सा.का.नि. 235.— राष्ट्रपति, संविधान के अनुच्छेद 309 के परन्तुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और बी सी जी टीका प्रयोगशाला, गिंडी, मद्रास (समूह 'ग' पद) भर्ती नियम, 1981 जहां तक आशुलिपिक (ज्येष्ठ) के पद से संबंधित है, को उन बातों के सिवाए अधिक्रांत करते हुए जिन्हें ऐसे अधिक्रमण से पहले किया गया है या करने का लोप किया गया है, स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय, बी. सी. जी. टीका प्रयोगशाला, गिंडी, चेन्नई में आशुलिपिक श्रेणी I के पद पर भर्ती की पद्धति का विनियमन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते हैं, अर्थात् :—

3. भर्ती की पद्धति, आयु सीमा, अर्हताएं आदि : —भर्ती की पद्धति, आयु सीमा, अर्हताएं और उससे संबंधित अन्य बातें वे होंगी जो उक्त अनुसूची/पूर्वोक्त अनुसूची के स्तंभ (5) से (13) में विनिर्दिष्ट हैं ।

4. निरर्हता .— वह व्यक्ति -

(क) जिसने ऐसे व्यक्ति से जिसका पति या जिसकी पत्नी जीवित है, विवाह किया है; या विवाह की संविदा की है या (ख) जिसने अपने पति या अपनी पत्नी के जीवित रहते हुए किसी व्यक्ति से विवाह किया है,या विवाह की संविदा की है ।

उक्त पद पर नियुक्ति का पात्र नहीं होगा ।

परन्तु यदि के न्द्रीय सरकार का यह समाधान हो जाता है कि ऐसा विवाह उस व्यक्ति और विवाह के अन्य पक्षकार को लागू स्वीय विधि के अधीन अनुज्ञेय है और ऐसा करने के लिए अन्य आधार हैं तो वह किसी व्यक्ति को इस नियम के प्रवर्तन से छू ट दे सके गी ।

5. शिथिल करने की शक्ति .—जहां के न्द्रीय सरकार की यह राय है कि ऐसा करना आवश्यक या समीचीन है, वहां वह उसके लिए जो कारण हैं, उन्हें लेखबद्ध करके , तथा संघ लोक सेवा आयोग से परामर्श करके , इन नियमों के किसी उपबंध को किसी वर्ग या प्रवर्ग के व्यक्तियों की बाबत, आदेश द्वारा शिथिल कर सके गी ।

6. व्यावृत्ति.— इन नियमों की कोई बात, ऐसे आरक्षण, आयु-सीमा में छू ट और अन्य रियायतों पर प्रभाव नहीं डालेगी, जिनका के न्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा इस संबंध में समय-समय पर जारी किए गए आदेशों के अनुसार अनुसूचित जातियों, अनुसूचित जनजातियों, भूतपूर्व सैनिकों और अन्य विशेष प्रवर्ग के व्यक्तियों के लिए उपबंध करना अपेक्षित है ।

Vaccine Laboratory, Guindy, Chennai, (Group 'C' posts), Recruitment Rules, 1981 in so far as they relate to the post of Stenographer (Senior), except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade-I in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, BCG Vaccine Laboratory, Guindy, Chennai namely: —

1. Short title and commencement .—(1)These rules may be called the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, BCG Vaccine Laboratory, Guindy, Chennai, Stenographer Grade-I (Group 'B' post), Recruitment Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into the force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Number of post, classification, Level in the Pay Matrix.—The number of post, its classification, the level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.

3. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc.—he method of recruitment, age- limit, qualifications and other matters relating thereto shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.

4. Disqualification.—No person,-

(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or

(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall be eligible for appointment to the said post;

Provided that, the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of these rules.

5. Power to relax .—Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing, and in consultation with Union Public Service Commission, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.

6. Saving .—Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the the ex-Servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.

1. Short title and commencement .—(1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, BCG Vaccine Laboratory, Guindy, Chennai, Multi-Tasking Staff (Group 'C' post) Recruitment Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Number of post, classification, level in the pay matrix.—The number of post, its classification and the level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.

3. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc .—The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the aforesaid Schedule.
