G.S.R. 254.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, and in supersession of the Sashastra Seema Bal, Store-Keeper Group 'C' posts Recruitment Rules, 2010, in so far as it relate to the post of Store Keeper (Level III), except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession , the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the Sashastra Seema Bal, Store- Keeper (Level III) Group 'C' Post, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Sashastra Seema Bal, Store-Keeper (Level III) Group 'C' Post Recruitment Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Number of post, its classification and level in the pay matrix.—The number of post, its classification and the level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the said Schedule.
3. Method of recruitment, age limit, qualifications, etc.—The method of recruitment to the said post, age limit, qualifications and other matters relating thereto, shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the aforesaid Schedule.
4. Disqualification.—No person,1138 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : AUGUST 26, 2017/BHADRA 4, 1939 [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] (a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or
(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,
shall be eligible for appointment to the said posts:
Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and to other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of these rules.
5. Superannuation.—A person appointed under these rules shall retire from service on the afternoon of the last day of the month in which he attains the age of sixty years:
Provided that a person whose date of birth is the first day of a month shall retire from service on the afternoon of the last day of the preceding month on attaining the age of sixty years.
6. Power to relax.—Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient to do so, it may, by order, for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.
7. Saving.—Nothing in these rules shall affect reservations, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the Other Backward Classes, the Ex-Servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.

G.S.R. 255.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Urban Development, Central Public Works Department, Superintendent Grade-I, Group 'B' Gazetted Posts Recruitment Rules, 2014.
1. (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Central Public Works Department, Assistant Administrative Officer, Group 'B' Gazetted Posts Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Ministry of Urban Development, Central Public Works Department, Superintendent Grade- I, Group 'B' Gazetted Posts Recruitment Rules, 2014,—
(I) in rule 1, in sub-rule (I), for the words and figure "Superintendent Grade-I", the words "Assistant Administrative Officer" shall be substituted;
(II) for rule 2, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:—
"2. Number of post, classification and level in the pay matrix.—The number of the said post, its classification and level in the pay matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the schedule annexed to these rules.";
(III) in the schedule,—
(a) in the entry under column (1), for the words and figure "Superintendent Grade-I", the words "Assistant Administrative Officer" shall be substituted;
(b) for the heading to column (4), the following heading shall be substituted, namely:-
"Level in the pay matrix";
(c) for the entry under column (4), the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-
"Level 7";
(d) in the entries under column (11),—
(A) for the words and figures "pay band-2, 9300-34800/ with grade pay 4200/- ", the words and figure "level 6 in the pay matrix" shall be substituted;

G.S.R. 257.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in supersession of the Department of Science & Technology (Scientific Attache in the Indian Missions Abroad) Recruitment Rules, 1995, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Scientific Attache in the Indian Missions abroad in the Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, namely :—
1. Short title and commencement .—(1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Science and Technology (Scientific Attache in the Indian Missions Abroad) Recruitment Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Number of posts, classification, level in pay matrix .—The number of the said post, its classification and the level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.
3. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc. —The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.
4. Disqualification .—No person, -
(i) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living, or
(ii) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person,
shall be eligible for appointment to the said post.
Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.
5. Power to relax .—Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may by order for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.
6. Saving .—Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes. Other Backward Classes, Ex-servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.

( iii) wide experience in inter-disciplinary areas of Science and Technology with an emphasis on copyrights, intellectual property rights, patents and inventions. N ote.- The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in same or some other Organisations or Departments of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed four years. The maximum age-limit for appointment by deputation (including short-term contract) shall be not exceeding fifty-six years as on the closing date for receipt of applications. |

1. (1) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम सू\म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यम मंत्रालय, सू\म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यम िवकास संगठन, समूह "ग" पद भर्ती (संशोधन) िनयम, 2017 है।
(2) ये राजपत्र में उनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।
2. सू\म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यम मंत्रालय, सू\म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यम िवकास संगठन समूह "ग" पद भर्ती िनयम, 2012 (जिसे इसमें इसके पbात् उक्त नियम कहा गया है) के नियम 3 के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित नियम रखा जाएगा, अर्थात्ः—

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

In the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises- Development Organisation, Group 'C' Posts Recruitment Rules, 2012 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), for rule 3, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:—

(अ) स्तंभ (4) के अधीन की प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टिय[ रखी जाएंगी, अर्थात्ः—
" स्तर-2 (19900-63200 \. )";
(आ) स्तंभ (11) में,- "प्रतिनियुक्ति/आमेलन" उपशीर्षक के अधीन "वेतन बैंड-1, 5200-20200 \. + 'ेड वेतन 1800 \.'' शब्दों, अंकों और अक्षरों के स्थान पर, दोनों स्थानों पर "वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर-1 (18000-56900 रू.)" शब्द, अंक और अक्षर रखे जाएंगे ।

G.S.R. 259.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises-Development Organisation, Staff Car Drivers (Group 'C' Posts), Recruitment Rules, 2013, namely:-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises-Development Organisation, Staff Car Drivers (Group 'C' Posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises- Development Organisation, Staff Car Drivers (Group 'C' Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2013 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), for rule 3, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:—
"3. Number of post, classification and Level in Pay Matrix.—The number of post, its classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules."1152 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : AUGUST 26, 2017/BHADRA 4, 1939 [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] 3. In the said rules, in the Schedule,-
(a) against serial number 1 relating to the post of Staff Car Driver (Grade-I),-
(A) in column (4),-
(i) for the heading, the following heading shall be substituted, namely:--
"Level in the pay matrix.";
(ii) for the existing entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
"Level-5 (Rs. 29200-92300/.";
(B) in column (11),-
(I) under sub-heading "Promotion",-
(i) for the words, figures and letters "Pay Band-1, Rs. 5200-20200/ with Grade Pay of Rs. 2400", the words, figures and letters "Level-4 in the pay matrix (Rs. 25500-81100/)" shall be substituted;
(ii) Note 2 shall be omitted;
(II) under sub-heading "Deputation",-
(i) In item (b), for the words, figures and letters "pay band-1, Rs. 5200-20200/ with grade pay of Rs. 2400", the words, figures and letters "Level-4 in the pay matrix (Rs. 25500-81100/)" shall be substituted;
(ii) Note 4 shall be omitted;
(b) against serial number 2 relating to the post of Staff Car Driver (Grade-II),-
(A) for the entries under column (4), the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
"Level-4 (Rs. 25500-81100/)";
(B) in column (11),-
(I) under sub-heading "Promotion",-
(i) for the words, figures and letters "Pay Band-1, Rs. 5200-20200/ with grade pay of Rs. 1900", the words, figures and letters "Level-2 in the pay matrix (Rs. 19900-63200/)" shall be substituted;
(ii) Note 2 shall be omitted;
(II) under sub-heading "Deputation",-
(i) in item (b), for the words, figures and letters "pay band-1, Rs. 5200-20200/ with grade pay of Rs. 1900", the words, figures and letters "Level-2 in the pay matrix (Rs. 19900-63200/)" shall be substituted;
(ii) Note 4 shall be omitted;
(c) against serial number 3 relating to the post of Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade),-
(A) for the entries under column (4), the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
"Level-2 (Rs. 19900-63200/)";
(B) in column (11), under sub-heading "Deputation/absorption", for the words, figures and letters "pay band-1, Rs. 5200-20200/ with grade pay of Rs. 1800" at both the places, the words, figures and letters "Level-1 in the pay matrix (Rs. 18000-56900/)" shall be substituted.
