G.S.R. 434.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules for regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Assistant Director (Information Technology) and Computer Programmer in the Ministry of Home Affairs, North Eastern Police Academy, Barapani, Shillong, namely:-

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Home Affairs, North Eastern Police Academy, Barapani, (Group 'A' and Group 'B') posts Recruitment Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Number of post, classification, pay band and grade pay or pay scale. - The number of post, their classification, pay band and grade pay or pay scale attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.

3. Method of recruitment, age limit, qualifications, etc.- The method of recruitment, age limit, qualifications and other matters relating to the said posts shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the aforesaid Schedule.

4. Disqualification. - No person,—

(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living, or

(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,

shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and other party to the marriage and there are other grounds for so doing exempt any person from the operation of this rule.

5. Initial Constitution.- The person holding the post of the Computer Programmer Group 'B' Non-Gazetted in level 7, on the date of commencement of these rules on regular basis shall be deemed to have been appointed under these rules and the service rendered by him in the said post on regular basis before the said commencement shall be taken into account for deciding the period of probation, seniority, pensionary benefits and eligibility for promotion to the next higher grade.

6. Power to relax.- Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may in consultation with the Union Public Service Commission, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.

7. Saving.- Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the Ex-serviceman and other special categories of persons in accordance with the order issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.

G.S.R. 436.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, and in supersession of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy, Hyderabad (Cameraman, Senior Laboratory Assistant, Junior Laboratory Assistant and Studio Attendant) Recruitment Rules, 1988, in so far as they relate to the post of Cameraman, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Cameraman in the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy, Hyderabad under the Ministry of Home Affairs, namely :-

1. Short title and commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (Cameraman) Recruitment Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage, and that there are grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.

5. Power to relax.- Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may, by order, and for the reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.

6. Saving. – Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Ex-servicemen, other Backward Classes and other special categories of persons, in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.

4. निरर्हतानिरर्हतानिरर्हतानिरर्हता:::: वह Oयक्ति-

(क) जिसने ऐसे Oयक्ति से जिसका पति या जिसकी पत्नी जीिवत है, विवाह किया है या विवाह की संविदा की है; या

(ख) जिसने अपने पति या अपनी पत्नी के जीवित रहते 'ए किसी Oयक्ति से विवाह किया है या विवाह की संविदा की है,

उक्त पद पर नियुक्ति का पात्र नहS होगा :

परंतु यदि कें Tीय सरकार का यह समाधान हो जाता है कि ऐसा विवाह उस Oयक्ति और विवाह के अन्य पक्षकार को लागू स्वीय विधि के अधीन अनुUेय है और ऐसा करने के लिए अन्य आधार हैं तो वह किसी Oयक्ति को इस नियम के प्रवर्तन से छू ट दे सके गी ।

6. शिथिल करने की शक्तिशिथिल करने की शक्तिशिथिल करने की शक्तिशिथिल करने की शक्ति : : : : जहां कें Tीय सरकार की यह राय है कि ऐसा करना आवश्यक या समीचीन है, वहां वह उसके िलए जो कारण हैं, उन्हें लेखब4 करके , तथा संघ लोक सेवा आयोग के साथ परामर्श करके , इन नियमों के किसी उपबंध को किसी वर्ग या प्रवर्ग के Oयक्तियों की बाबत, आदेश द्वारा शिथिल कर सके गी ।

7. 0या0या0या0यावृत्तिवृत्तिवृत्तिवृत्ति: : : : इन नियमों की कोई बात, ऐसे आरक्षण, आयु-सीमा में छू ट और अन्य रियायतों पर प्रभाव नहS डालेगी, जिनका कें Tीय सरकार द्वारा इस संबंध में समय-समय पर जारी किए गए आदेशों के अनुसार अनुसूचित जातियों, अनुसूचित जनजातियों, भूतपूर्व सैनिकों और अन्य विशेष प्रवर्ग के Oयक्तियों के लिए उपबंध करना अपेक्षित है।

G.S.R. 437.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Director (Examination Reforms) in the Office of the Union Public Service Commission, namely:-

1. Short title and commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Union Public Service Commission, Director (Examination Reforms), Group 'A' Post Recruitment Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Number of post, classification and level in pay matrix. - The number of post, its classification and level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.

3. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc. - The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.

4. Disqualification. - No person,-

(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or

(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,

shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:

6. (2) अनुसूची में -

(क) स्तंभ (4) में,

i. शीर्ष निम्नांकित शीर्ष रखा जाएगा, अर्थात :

"वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर"

ii स्तंभ (4) के अधीन प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नांकित प्रविष्टि रखी जाएगी; अर्थात:-

"वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर-7 (44900-142400 (cid:130).)"

(ख) स्तंभ (11) में विद्यमान प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि रखी जाएगी - अर्थात

प्रोन्नप्रोन्नप्रोन्नप्रोन्नित ित ित ित ––––

वेतन मैट्रिक्स में स्तर 6 (35400-112400 (cid:130)) में सहायक तकनीकी अधिकारी जिसने पांच वर्ष नियमित सेवा की हो और उस विषय में या तकनीकी अधिकारी के पद से संबंधित कार्यक्षेत्र, कर्तOयों या दायित्वों में दो सप्ताह का प्रशिक्षण सफलतापूर्वक पूरा किया हो।

टिप्पटिप्पटिप्पटिप्पणणणण - - - - जहां ऐसे कनिष्ठ Oयक्तियों ने, जिन्होंने अपनी अर्हक या पात्रता सेवा पूरी कर ली है, की प्रोन्नति के लिए विचार किया जा रहा हो, वहां उनके ज्येष्ठ Oयक्तियों के संबंध में भी विचार किया जाएगा परंतु यह तब जब कि उसके द्वारा की गई ऐसी अर्हक या पात्रता सेवा, अपेक्षित अर्हक या पात्रता सेवा के आधे से अधिक से या दो वर्ष से, इनमें से जो भी कम हो, कम न हो और उन्होंने अपने ऐसे कनिष्ठ Oयक्तियों सहित, जिन्होंने ऐसी अर्हक या पात्रता सेवा पहले ही पूरी कर ली है, अगली उ(cid:25)चतर _ेणी में प्रोन्नति के लिए अपनी परिवीक्षा की अवधि सफलतापूर्वक पूरी कर ली हो।

1. (1) Short title and commencement:- These rules may be called the Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Agriculture and Co-operation, Soil and Land Use Survey of India, Technical Officer, Group 'B' post Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Agriculture and Co-operation, Soil and Land Use Survey of India, Technical Officer, Group 'B' post Recruitment Rules, 2015:-

(1) in rule 2, for the words " Pay band and grade pay or pay scale" in both the places where they occur, the words "level in the pay matrix" shall be substituted;

(2) in the schedule:-

(a) in column (4):-

(i) for the heading, the following heading shall be substituted namely:-

"Level in the pay matrix"

(ii) for the entries under column (4) following entries shall be substituted namely:-

"Level 7 (Rs.44900-142400) in the Pay Matrix"

(b) in column (11), for the existing entry, the following entries shall be substituted namely:-

"Promotion:-

Assistant Technical Officer in level 6 (Rs. 35400-112400) in the pay matrix with five years' regular service in the grade and have successfully completed two weeks training in the subject or areas of work, duties and responsibilities attached to the post of Technical Officer.

Note: Where juniors who have completed their qualifying or eligibility service are being considered for promotion, their seniors would also be considered provided they are not short of the requisite qualifying or eligibility service by more than half of such qualifying or eligibility service or two years, whichever is less, and have successfully completed their probation period for promotion to the next higher grade along with their juniors who have already completed such qualifying or eligibility service".

Bावृत्तिBावृत्तिBावृत्तिBावृत्ति:::: इन नियमों की कोई बात, ऐसे आरक्षणों, आयु-सीमा में छू ट और अन्य रियायतों पर प्रभाव नहS डालेगी, जिनका के न्Tीय सरकार द्वारा इस संबंध में समय समय पर जारी किए गए आदेशों के अनुसार अनुसूचित जातियों, अनुसूिचत जनजातियों, अन्य िपछड़े वगh, भूतपूर्व सैनिकों और अन्य विशेष प्रवर्ग के Oयक्तियों के लिए उपबंध करना अपेक्षित है ।

टिप्पटिप्पटिप्पटिप्पणणणण 1 1 1 1 : : : : पोषक प्रवर्ग के ऐसे विभागीय अधिकारी, जो प्रोन्नति की सीधी पंक्ति में है प्रतिनियुक्ति पर नियुक्ति के िलए िवचारकिए जाने के लिए पात्र नहS होंगे । इसी प्रकार प्रतिनियुक्ति Oयक्ति प्रोन्नति द्वारा नियुक्ति के लिए विचार किए जाने के पात्र नहS होंगे ।

[प्रतिनियुक्ति की अवधि (जिसके अंतर्गत अल्पकालिक संविदा भी है) जिसके अंतर्गत के न्Tीय सरकार के उसी या किसी अन्य संगठन या

विभाग में इस नियुक्ति से ठीक पहले धारित किसी अन्य काडर बा| पद पर प्रतिनियुक्ति की अवधि है, साधारणतया तीन वर्ष से अधिक नहS होगी। प्रतिनियुक्ति द्वारा नियुक्ति के लिए अधिकतम आयु सीमा (जिसके अंतर्गत अल्पकालिक संविदा भी है) आवेदन प्राप्त

करने की अन्तिम तारीख की 56 वर्ष से अधिक नहS होगी।]

टिप्पटिप्पटिप्पटिप्पणणणण 2 2 2 2 : : : : प्रतिनियुक्ति के आधार पर नियुक्ति के प्रयोजन के लिए किसी अधिकारी द्वारा 1 जनवरी, 2016 से पहले अर्थात् (उस तारीख से जिससे सातवें के न्Tीय वेतन आयोग की सिफारिशों पर आधारित पुनरीक्षित वेतन संरचना का विस्तार किया गया है) नियमित आधार पर की गई सेवा को सिवाय उस दशा के जहाँ एक से अधिक पूर्व पुनरीक्षित oेड वेतन का साधारण oेड वेतन सहित एक वेतन मैट्रिक्स में विलय कर दिया गया है और वहाँ यह लाभ के वल उन पदों या विस्तारित होगा जिनके लिए वेतन मैट्रिक्स में वह स्तर बिना किसी उन्नयन के साधारण प्रतिस्थापन स्तर है, वेतन आयोग की सिफारिशों पर आधारित विस्तारित तत्स्थायी वेतन मैट्रिक्स के स्तर में की गई सेवा समझी जाएगी।

G.S.R. 439439439439.– In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in supersession of the Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Directorate of Extension, Offset Production Officer and Press Supervisor (Group 'B') Post Recruitment Rules, 2015, except as respect to things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the posts of Offset Production Officer and Press Supervisor in the Directorate of Extension under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, namely:-

1. Short title and commencement.– (1)These rules may be called the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, Directorate of Extension, Offset Production Officer and Press Supervisor (Group 'B' Post), Recruitment Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette.

2. Number of post, classification and Level of pay in the Pay Matrix.– The number of posts, their classification, Level of pay in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.

3. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc.– The method of recruitment to the said posts, age-limit, qualifications and other matters relating thereto shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the aforesaid Schedule.

4. Disqualification. – No person, –

(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living, or

(b) who having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,

shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.

5. Power to relax.– Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may, by order, for reasons to be recorded in writing and in consultation with the Union Public Service Commission, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.

6. Saving.– Nothing in these rules shall affect reservations, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, ex-Servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.

(ii) with five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the Level – 6 (Rs.35,400-1,12,400) in the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

(b) possessing the following educational qualifications and experience, namely:-

(i) Diploma in Printing technology from a recognised University or Institute; (ii) Three years practical experience in processing and printing technology in any Central or State Government or Union territory Administrations or Public Sector undertakings or Universities or recognised Research Institutions or Semi Government or Autonomous or Statutory Organisations.

Promotion: The departmental Press Supervisor in the Level – 6 (Rs. 35,400-1,12,400) in the Pay Matrix with five years regular service will also be considered along with outsiders and in case he or she is selected for appointment to the post, the same shall be deemed to have been filled by promotion.

Note 1 : The departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.

[The period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not to exceed three years. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short term contract) shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.]

Note 2 : For the purpose of appointment on deputation basis, the service rendered on a regular basis by an officer prior to the 1st January, 2016 (the date from which the revised pay structure based on the Seventh Central Pay Commission recommendation has been extended) shall be deemed to be service rendered in the corresponding grade pay or pay scale extended based on the recommendations of the pay commission except where there has been merger of more than one pre-revised scale of pay into one grade with a common Grade Pay or Pay scale and where this benefit will extend only for the posts for which that grade pay or pay scale is the normal replacement grade without any upgradation.

Officers of Central Government or State Governments or Union territories or Autonomous or Statutory Organisations or Public Sector undertakings or Universities or recognised Research Institutes:

(a) ( i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(ii) with six years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the Level – 5 (Rs. 29,200-92,300) in the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

(b) possessing the following qualifications and experience, namely:-

(i) Diploma in Printing technology from a Government recognised institution; (ii) two years experience in processing and printing technology in any Central or State Government or Union territory Administration or Public Sector Undertakings or University or recognised Research Institution or Semi- Government or Autonomous or Statutory Organisation.

परन्तु यदि के न्Tीय सरकार का यह समाधान हो जाता है कि ऐसा विवाह उस bक्ति और विवाह के अन्य पक्षकार को लागू स्वीय विधि के अधीन अनुUेय है और ऐसा करने के लिए अन्य आधार हैं तो वह किसी bक्ति को इस नियम के प्रवर्तन से छू ट दे सके गी।

1. Short title and commencement.– (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Central Water and Power Research Station, Pune, Additional Director, Group 'A' Post, Recruitment Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Number of post, classification and level in the pay matrix.— The number of post, its classification and level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.

3. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc.,— The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications and other matters relating thereto shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.

4. Disqualification. — No person,—

(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or

(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,

shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.

5. Power to relax.— Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may, by order and in consultation with Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.

6. Savings.— Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Ex-Servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, the Central Water and Power Research Station, Pune, Administrative and Accounts Services, Legal Assistant, Group 'B' Post, Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Ministry of Water Resources, Central Water and Power Research Station, Pune, Administrative and Accounts Services, Legal Assistant, Group 'B' Post Recruitment Rules 2011, (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), for rule 2, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:-

(i) "2. Number of post, classification and level in pay matrix.— The number of said post, its classification and level in pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules."

(ii) In the schedules, of the said rules,-

(a) in column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading and entries shall be substituted, namely: -1966 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : DECEMBER 16, 2017/AGRAHAYANA 25, 1939 [PART II—SEC. 3(i)]

टिप्पणटिप्पणटिप्पणटिप्पण 2:2:2:2: जहाँ ऐसे कनिष्ठ bक्तियों के संबंध में जिन्होंने अपनी अर्हक या पात्रता सेवा पूरी कर ली है, प्रोन्नित के िलए विचार किया जा रहा हो, वहां उनसे ज्येष्ठ bक्तियों के संबंध में भी विचार किया जाएगा परंतु यह तब जब कि उसके द्वारा की गई ऐसी अर्हक या पात्रता सेवा, अपेक्षित अर्हक या पात्रता सेवा के आधे से अधिक से या दो वर्ष से, इनमें से जो भी कम हो, कम न हो और उन्होंने अपने ऐसे कनिष्ठ bक्तियों सहित, जिन्होंने ऐसी अर्हक या पात्रता सेवा पहले ही पूरी कर ली है, अगली उcतर _ेणी में प्रोन्नित के िलए अपनी परिवीक्षा की अवधी सफलतापूर्वक पूरी कर ली हो ;

के न्Tीय सरकार के ऐसे अिधकारी :

(क) (i) जो िनयिमत आधार पर सदृश पद धारण किए 'ए हैं; या

(ii) वेतन मैट्रिक्स के स्तर 2 में कम से कम आठ वर्ष की नियमित सेवा हो; और

(ख) (i) िजनके पास स्तंभ 7 के अंतर्गत सीधी भर्ती हेतु निर्धारित शैक्षिक अर्हताएँ हो; और

(ii) जो सरकारी संगठन में भंडार या लेखाओं के रखरखाव का तीन वर्ष का अनुभव रखता हो ।

टिप्पणटिप्पणटिप्पणटिप्पण 1:1:1:1: के न्Tीय सरकार के उसी या किसी अन्य संगठन या विभाग में इस नियुक्ति से ठीक पहले किसी अन्य संवर्ग बा| धारित पद पर प्रतिनियुक्ति की अवधि सहित प्रतिनियुक्ति की अवधि साधारणतया तीन वर्ष से अधिक नहS होगी। प्रतिनियुक्ति द्वारा नियुक्ति के िलए अधिकतम आयु सीमा आवेदन पत्र प्राप्त करने की अंतिम तारीख को 56 वर्ष से अधिक नहS होगी ।

टिप्पणटिप्पणटिप्पणटिप्पण 2 2 2 2 :::: पोषक प्रवर्ग के ऐसे विभागीय अधिकारी, जो प्रोन्नित की सीधी पंक्ति में है, प्रतिनियुक्ति पर नियुक्ति के िलए िवचार किए जाने के पात्र नहS होंगे । इसी प्रकार प्रतिनियुक्त bक्ति प्रोन्नित द्वारा नियुक्ति के िलए िवचार किए जाने के पात्र नहS होंगे।

टिप्पणटिप्पणटिप्पणटिप्पण 3 3 3 3 :::: प्रतिनियुक्ति के आधार पर नियुक्ति के प्रयोजनार्थ किसी अधिकारी द्वारा 01 जनवरी, 2016, वह तारीख िजससे सातवें कें Tीय वेतन आयोग द्वारा संशोधित वेतन संरचना को लागू किया गया है, से पूर्व की गई नियमित सेवा आयोग की सिफारिश के आधार पर प्रदान किए गए वेतन में तदनुरूपी मैट्रिक्स स्तर में की गई सेवा समझा जाएगा।

G.S.R. 446.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, and in supersession of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Department of Food and Public Distribution, Assistant Manager-cum-Store Keeper Recruitment Rules, 2013 and Assistant Manager-cum-Store Keeper Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2015, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules for the post of Assistant Manager-cum-Store Keeper in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Department of Food and Public Distribution namely:-

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Department of Food and Public Distribution, Assistant Manager-cum-Store Keeper Recruitment Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Number of post, classification and level in the pay matrix.- The number of the said post, its classification and level in the pay matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Scheduled annexed to these rules.

3. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc. - The method of recruitment to the said post, age-limit, qualifications and other matters relating thereto shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the aforesaid Scheduled.

4. Disqualification. - No person, -

(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or

(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,

shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.

5. Power to relax.- Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.

6. Saving.- Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Ex-servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.
