G.S.R. 354.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in supersession of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy Assistant Director (Law) Recruitment Rules, 1973, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Assistant Director (Law) in the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy under the Ministry of Home Affairs, namely :—
1. Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy Assistant Director (Law) Recruitment Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Number of post, classification and level in pay matrix or pay scale.—The number of post, its classification and level in the pay matrix or pay scale attached to the said post shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.
3. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc.—The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.
4. Disqualification.– No person,–
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or
(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,
shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:
Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.
5. Power to relax.—Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may, by order, and for the reasons to be recorded in writing, and in consultation with Union Public Service Commission relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.
6. Saving.—Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Ex-servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.

N ote 1: Period of deputation of officers belonging to Indian Police Service shall be governed by the tenure rules of Indian Police Service officers. For non- Indian Police Service officers, the period of deputation (including short term contract), including period of deputation (including short term contract) in another ex-cadre post, held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation or department in the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed four years. Note 2: The maximum age-limit for appointment by deputation (including short term contract) shall be not exceeding fifty-six years as on the closing date of receipt of application. |

1. (1) Short title and commencement.—These rules may be called the Soil and Land Use Survey of India (Assistant Field Officer) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Soil and Land Use Survey of India (Assistant Field Officer) Recruitment Rules, 2015:—
(a) in rule 2, for the words " Pay band and grade pay or pay scale" at both the places where they occur, the words "level in the pay matrix" shall be substituted;
(b) in the Schedule:—
(i) in column (4), for the heading, the heading "Level in the Pay Matrix" shall be substituted;
(ii) for the entry, the entry "Level 6 (Rs.35400-112400) in the Pay Matrix" shall be substituted.

G.S.R. 356.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, and in supersession of the Regional Poultry Farms, (Class III and Class IV Non-Gazetted posts) Recruitment Rules, 1965, in so far as they relate to the post of Poultry Attendant except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Poultry Attendant in the Central Poultry Development Organisations and Central Poultry Performance Testing Centre under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, namely:—
1. Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Central Poultry Development Organisations and Central Poultry Performance Testing Centre (Poultry Attendant) Recruitment Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Number of post, classification and level in the pay matrix.—The number of post, its classification and the level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.
3. Method of recruitment, age-limit and other qualifications, etc.— The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the aforesaid Schedule.
4. Disqualification.—No person,—
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or
(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,
shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:
Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.
5. Power to Relax.—Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing and relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.
6. Saving.—Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the Other Backward Classes, Ex-servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.

उक्त पद पर नियुक्ति का पात्र नहc होगा :
परन्तु यदि के न्Zीय सरकार का यह समाधान हो जाता है कि ऐसा िववाह ऐसे lक्ति और िववाह के अन्य पक्षकार को लागू स्वीय िविध के अधीन अनुdेय है और ऐसा करने के िलए अन्य आधार हैं तो वह किसी lक्ति को इस िनयम के प्रवर्तन से छू ट दे सके गी ।

1111. संक्षिप्त. संक्षिप्त. संक्षिप्त. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारंभ नाम और प्रारंभ नाम और प्रारंभ नाम और प्रारंभ....————((((1) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम राष्ट्रीय अभिलेखागार (पुस्तकालय विधा में समूह 'क' और समूह 'ख' पद) भर्ती (संशोधन) नियम, 2018 है ।
(2) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. राष्ट्रीय अभिलेखागार (पुस्तकालय विधा में समूह 'क' और समूह 'ख' पद) भर्ती नियम, 2016 में नियम 2 के िलए, निम्नलिखित नियम को प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थात् :—

(2) टिप्पण 2 का लोप किया जाएगा
(ख) "सहायक पुस्तकालय और सूचना अिधकारी" के पद से संबंधित Xम संख्या 2 के सामने
(i) स्तंभ (4) में, विद्यमान प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि को प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा.

G.S.R. 358.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the National Archives of India (Group 'A' and Group 'B' posts in the Library Discipline) Recruitment Rules, 2016, namely:—
1. Short title and commencement .—(1) These rules may be called the National Archives of India (Group 'A' and Group 'B' posts in the Library Discipline) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the National Archives of India (Group 'A' and Group 'B' posts in the Library Discipline) Recruitment Rules, 2016,
(1) for rule 2, the following rule shall be substituted, namely :—
"2. Number of posts, classification, and level in the pay matrix.—The number of posts, their classification and level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules";
(2) in the Schedule,—
(a) against serial number 1, relating to the post of `Library and Information Officer', —
(i) in column (4), for the column heading and entries relating thereto, the following column heading and entries shall be substituted namely :—

4. . . . निरर्हतानिरर्हतानिरर्हतानिरर्हता.—वह bयक्ति—
(क) जिसने ऐसे bयक्ति से जिसका पति या जिसकी पत्नी जीवित है, विवाह किया है या विवाह की संविदा की है, या
(ख) जिसने अपने पति या अपनी पत्नी के जीवित रहते &ए किसी bयक्ति से विवाह किया है या विवाह की संविदा की है, उक्त पद पर नियुक्ति का पात्र नहc होगा :
परन्तु यदि कें Zीय सरकार का यह समाधान हो जाता है कि ऐसा विवाह ऐसे bयक्ति और विवाह के अन्य पक्षकार को लागू स्वीय िविध के अधीन अनुdेय है और ऐसा करने के लिए अन्य आधार हैं, तो वह किसी bयक्ति को इस नियम के प्रवर्तन में छू ट दे सके गी ।
5. . . . शिथिल करने की शक्तिशिथिल करने की शक्तिशिथिल करने की शक्तिशिथिल करने की शक्ति.—जहां के न्Zीय सरकार की यह राय है कि ऐसा करना आवश्यक या समीचीन है, वहां वह उसके लिए, जो कारण हैं उन्हें लेखब\ करके , तथा संघ लोक सेवा आयोग से परामर्श करके इन नियमों के किसी उपबंध को किसी वर्ग या प्रवर्ग के bयक्तियों की बाबत, आदेश \ारा शिथिल कर सके गी ।

G.S.R. 359.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in supersession of the National Archives of India, New Delhi (Stenographer Grade II) Recruitment Rules, 1994, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Stenographer Grade-I in the National Archives of India, Ministry of Culture, namely:—
1. Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the National Archives of India, (Stenographer Grade I), Group 'B' post Recruitment Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Number of post, classification, and Level in Pay Matrix.—The number of post, their classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.
3. Method of recruitment, age-limit and qualifications, etc.—The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications and other matters relating thereto shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the abovesaid Schedule.
4. Disqualification.—No person, –
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or
(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,
shall be eligible for appointment to the said posts:
Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.
5. Power to relax.—Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may, by order, and for reasons to be recorded in writing, and in consultation with the Union Public Service Commission, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.

G.S.R. 360.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Culture, National Archives of India, Non Statutory Departmental Canteen, Group 'C' post Recruitment Rules, 2016, namely:—
1. Short tile and commencement .—(1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Culture, National Archives of India, Non Statutory Departmental Canteen, Group 'C' post Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Ministry of Culture, National Archives of India, Non Statutory Departmental Canteen, Group 'C' post Recruitment Rules, 2016, —
(1) for rule 2, the following rule shall be substituted, namely :—
"2. Number of posts, classification, and level in the pay matrix.—The number of posts, their classification and level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules" ;
(2) in the Schedule,—
(a) against serial number 1, relating to the post of `Assistant Manager-cum-Store Keeper',—
(i) in column (4), for the column heading and entries relating thereto, the following column heading and entries shall be substituted namely :—

(ख) जिसने अपने पति या अपनी पyी के जीवित रहते &ए किसी lक्ति से विवाह किया है, या विवाह की संविदा की है,
उक्त पद पर नियुक्ति का पात्र नहc होगा ;
परन्तु यदि के न्Zीय सरकार का यह समाधान हो जाता है कि ऐसा विवाह उस lक्ति और विवाह के अन्य पक्षकार को लागू स्वीय विधि के अधीन अनुdेय है और ऐसा करने के लिए अन्य आधार हैं तो वह किसी lक्ति को इस नियम के प्रवर्तन से छू ट दे सके गी।

G.S.R. 362.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, and in supersession of the National Sugar Institute (Technical Assistant) Recruitment Rules, 1982, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Technical Assistant (Sugar Technology), in the National Sugar Institute, Kanpur in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Department of Food and Public Distribution, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the National Sugar Institute, Technical Assistant (Sugar Technology) Recruitment Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Number of posts, classification and level in pay matrix.—The number of post, its classification and level in the pay matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.
3. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc.—The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications and other matters relating thereto shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the aforesaid Schedule.
4. Disqualification.— No person,—
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or
(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,
Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.
5. Power to relax.—Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.

1. (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Department of Food and Public Distribution, National Sugar Institute, Kanpur, Director (Group 'A' post) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Department of Food and Public Distribution, National Sugar Institute, Kanpur, Director (Group 'A' Post) Recruitment Rules, 2012 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), for rule 2, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:—
"2. Number of posts, classification and level in pay Matrix.—The number of posts, its classification and level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules."
3. In the said rules, in the Schedule,—
[भाग II—खण्ड 3(i)] भारत का राजपत्रा : नवम्बर 3, 2018/कार्तिक 12, 1940 1871(A) in column (4), for the heading and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:—
