No. F. 2 ( 24 ) -1S / 71.- The President hereby makes the following rules fur- ther to amend the Post Office ( Recurring Deposits ) Rules , 1970 , publisned with the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Economic Affairs ) No F 3 ( 8 ) -NS / 70 , dated the 28th February, 1970 , namely:--
1 ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Post Office ( Recurring Deposits ) Amend- ment Rules , 1972
( 2 ) They shall come into force on the 1st day of April , 1972
2 in rule 6 of the Post Office (Recurring Deposits ) Rules , 1970 , ( hereinafter referred to as the saidsaid rules ) , in clause ( a ) ofofsub - rule ( 2 ) , for sub - clauses ( i ) and (ii) , the following shall be substituted , namely :- s
3 Paide for every Rs of the instalment for each month of default" .

3. In rule 12 of the said rules ,
(a) in clauses ( a) and ( b ) of sub - rule ( 3 ) , for the words " six and one half" , the figures " 7.2 " shall be substituted;
(b) the following shall be added as Note below sub- rule ( 3 ) , namely: -- NOTE .- The interest on withdrawals made before the 1st April , 1972 , shall be recovered at the rate of six and one half per cent per annum. "

सं ० फा ०2 ( 24 ) / एन एस/ 71 -राष्ट्रपति , भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय ( भार्थिक कार्य विभाग ) की तारीख 28 फरवरी , 1970 की अधिसूत्रना संख्या फा ०3 ( 8 ) -एन एस/ 70 के साथ प्रकाशित, डाकघर ( आवर्ती निक्षेप ) नियम , 1970 में और संशोधन करने के लिए एतद्वारा निम्न- लिखित नियम बनाते हैं, अर्थात्:-
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का नाम डाकघर ( श्रावर्ती निक्षेप ) संशोधन नियम , 1972 होगा ।
( 2 ) ये नियम अप्रैल , 1972 के प्रथम दिन को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. जाकधर ( श्रवर्ती निक्षेप ) नियम , 1970 ( जिये इसमें इसके पश्चात् उत्त नियमों कहा गया है ) के नियम 6 में, उपनियम ( 2 ) के खण्ड ( क) में, उपखण्ड ( ⅰ ) और ( ii ) के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थात्:
"व्यतिक्रम के हर एक मास के लिए किस्त के प्रत्येक पांच रुपए पर तीन पैसे । "
3. उक्त नियमों के नियम 12 में ,
(क ) उपनियम ( 3 ) के खण्ड ( क ) भौर ( ख) में, "साढ़े छह " शब्दों के स्थान पर , " 7.2" अंक प्रतिस्थापत किए जाएंगे ;
(ख) उपनियम ( 3 ) के नीचे निम्नलिखित टिप्पण जोड़ा जाएगा , अर्थात्:-
"टिप्पण: -1 अप्रैल , 1972 से पहले निकाली गई रकम पर ब्याज साढ़े छह प्रतिशत प्रतिवर्ष की दर से वसूल किया जाएगा । "
No. F. 2 ( 24 ) -NS / 71 ( 1 ) .- The President hereby makes the following rules fur- ther to amend the Post Office Savings Bank ( Cumulative Time Deposits ) Rules , 1959 , publishedshed wiwith the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Economic Affairs ) , No. F. 3 ( 40 ) -NS / 58 , dated 19th December , 1958 , namely :- the 1. ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Post Office Savings Bank ( Cumulative Time Deposits ) Second Amendment Rules , 1972 .
( 2) They shall come into force on the 1st day of April , 1972, 2. In rule 6 of the Post Office Savings Bank ( Cumulative Time Deposits ) Rules, 1959 , ( hereinafter referred to as the said rules ) , in sub - rule ( 2 ) , for sub -clauses (i) and ( ii ) , the following shall be substituted , namely:-

3 In rule 11 , of the said rules ,
(a) in clauses ( i) and ( 11 ) of sub - rule ( c) , for the figures and words " 6 per cent" the figures and words " 72 per cent" shall be substituted , (b) the following shall be added as Note below sub - rule ( c ) , namely "NOTE. The interest on withdrawals made before the 1st April , 1972 , shall be recovered at the rate of 6 per cent per annum "

सं० फा० 2 ( 24) -एम एस/ 71 ( i) राष्ट्रपति, भारत सरकार के वित्त मक्षालय ( आर्थिक कार्य विभाग ) की तारीख 19 दिसम्बर , 1958 की अधिसूचना स ० फा ० 3 ( 40 ) -एन एस / 58 के साथ प्रकाशित , डाकघर बचत बैंक ( सञ्चयी सावधि निक्षेप ) नियम, 1959 में और सशोधन करने के लिए एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते है, अर्थात्
1 ( 1 ) इन नियमो का नाम डाकघर बचत बैंक ( सचयी सावधिं निक्षेप ) द्वितीय सशोधन नियम , 1972 होगा ।
( 2) ये नियम अप्रैल , 1972 के प्रथम दिन को प्रवृत्त होगे ।
2. डाकघर बचत बैंक ( सचयी सावधि निक्षेप ) नियम, 1959 ( जिसे इसमे इसके पश्चात् उक्त नियमो कहा गया है ) के नियम 6 में , उपनियम , ( 2 ) में, उपखण्ड ( ⅰ ) और ( ii ) के स्थान पर , निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थात्

3. उक्त मियमो के नियम 11 में,
( क) उपनियम ( ग ) के खण्ड ( 1 ) भौर ( ii ) में , " 6 प्रतिशत " श्रंको और शब्दो के स्थान पर, " 7.2 प्रतिशत अंक और शब्द प्रतिस्थापित किए जाएगे ,
(ख) उपनियम ( ग ) के नीचे निम्नलिखित टिप्पण जोड़ा जाएगा, श्रर्थात्
"टिप्पण: 1 अप्रैल , 1972 से पहले निकाली गई रकम पर ब्याज 6 प्रतिशत प्रतिवर्ष की दर से वसूल किया जाएगा ।"
