NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 10th January, 1984

G.S.R. 13(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read wilh clause (b) of sub-section (2) of Section 20 of the Coco- nut Development Board Act, 1979 (5 of 1979), the Coconut Development Board, wilh the previous approval of the Central Gov:rnm;nt, hereby makes the following Recruitment Regulations, namely:—

1. Slior;tide—Commencement and application-(l) These regulations may be called the Coconut Development Board Recruitment Regulations, 1984.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in Official Gazette.

2. Definitions.—In these regulations, unless, there Is anything repugnant in subject or context,—

fa) "Act" means the Coconut Development'Board Act, 1979 (5 of 1979);

(b) "CliairmT.n" iawni the Cinlnmn of ihe Board;

(c) "Chief Coconut Development Officer" means the Chief Coconut Development Officer of the Bowd;

(d) "Selection committee" means selection committee of the Board;

(e) "Secretary" means the Secretary of the Board.

3. Number of post* and scale of pay.— The number of posts and the scales of pay attached thereto shall be as specified in columns 3 to 4 of. the Schedule annexed he eto.

4. Method of recruitment, ag? limit and other qualifications, etc.— The method of recruitment to the said posts, s&gc limit, quali- fications and other matters connected therewith shall be as specified in columns 5 to 12 of the Schedule aforesaid.

5. Disqualifications.— No person,— .

(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living ot

(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person.,

shall be eligible for appointment to the said posts:
