I. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION FOR THE POST OF DRIVER :-
1) The candidates must have passed SSLC or equivalent examination
2) The candidates must have valid Driving License of Heavy Motor Vehicle issued by the Competent Authority.
3) The candidates must be able to read and write in Kannada.
Scale of Pay:- Rs.11600-200-12000-250-13000-300-14200-350-15600-400-17200-450-19000-500-21000 with admissible allowances.
II. AGE LIMIT :
The candidates must have attained the age of 18 years as on the last date fixed for filing applications and must have not attained the age of :
1) 40 years in case of persons belonging to SC/ST and Category-I.
2) 38 years in case of persons belonging to any of the category-IIA, or II-B or III-A or III-B of other Backward Classes and 3) 35 years in case of others as on last date fixed for submission of his/her application.
4) Candidates claiming the benefit of reservation should furnish the certificate/s in the prescribed Form & such Certificate/s should have been issued by the competent authority. The candidates should note that, if on verification, certificate is found to be false, the candidates who made such false claim will be prosecuted in accordance with the relevant provision of Indian Penal Code and such candidates will also forfeit their claims for such selection.
III. METHOD OF RECRUITMENT :
The Selection of Candidates shall be made in accordance with the provisions contemplated in the Karnataka Sub-Ordinate Courts (Ministerial and other Posts) (Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules 2007.
An eligibility test will be held for candidates who have applied for the post of Driver to ascertain their expertise or skill test (Personal Skill, Ability, Aptitude and suitability to the post of Driver) in Driving and the method of test shall be determined by the Appointing Authority. Such eligibility test shall carry a maximum marks of fifty. The No. of candidates to be included in such list of eligible candidates for interview for the post of Driver shall be equal to 25 times of the total No. of vacancies notified, selected in order of merit.
IV. PROBATION :
Candidate will be appointed on probation for a period of two years and the provisions of KCS (Probation) Rules 1977 shall MUTATIS MUTANDIS apply to candidates so selected.
V. APPLICANTS WHEN CALLED FOR INTERVIEWS MUST APPEAR AT THEIR OWN EXPENSES.
The Candidates should submit their Applications Typed / Computerized complete in all aspects, together with copies of all the testimonials attested by the candidates in support of their age, qualification caste and income in the prescribed form issued by the competent authority so as to reach the District and Sessions Judge, Chickballapur on or before 30.05.2013 at 5.30P.M. The Envelope containing the application should be superscribed as "Application for the Post of Driver."
1) The In-service candidates shall submit their applications through proper channel.
2) Defective/Incomplete/applications are liable to be rejected.
3) The candidates who attempt to obtain extraneous support for his/her candidature shall not be eligible for selection.
VI.APPLICATION IN THE PRESCRIBED PROFORMA SHOULD BE FILLED IN BY THE CANDIDATES IN THEIR OWN
HANDWRITING AND MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY THE FOLLOWING TESTIMONIALS:
1) Copies of Marks Cards attested by the candidates.
2) The Candidates claiming the benefit under reservations shall produce a certificate in the form prescribed by the Government issued by the Competent Authority.
3) The Persons claiming reservations under the quota of Rural and Kannada Medium shall produce certificates issued by the competent authority.
4) Three Certificate of good character, one from the Principal of College/Head Master/Head Mistress or Institution in which he/she had last studied and two from respectable persons unconnected with him/her testifying to his/her character 5) Copy of SSLC/TC in support of Age proof attested by the candidates.
6) Citizenship certificate (where the candidate is not a citizen of Indian by birth) issued by the DC/District Magistrate of the District in which the candidate is residing.
7) One pass port size photo of candidate shall be affixed on the application with self-attestation.

9) Copies of valid driving license of Heavy Duty Vehicle issued by the Competent Authority.
10) Any application received after the due date and incomplete application will not be entertained.
11) If the candidates does not get intimation for the interview it shall be presumed that he/she is not eligible for the interview and no correspondence will be entertained there after if any of the Candidate is not called for the interview.
12) The number of vacancies on the classification as noted above is subject to variation.
13) The candidates who have already applied to the post of Driver vide this office Notification No.1/08, dt:17.06.08 need not apply now as their applications will be considered this time also if they are eligible / qualified.

I. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION FOR THE POST OF STENOGRAPHER :-
1) The candidates must have passed SSLC or equivalent examination.
2) The candidates must have passed Senior Typewriting and Senior Shorthand both in Kannada and English language conducted by the Department of Public Instructions of the Karnataka Secondary Examination Board or possess an Equivalent Qualification.
3) The computer knowledge is a must for the candidates and they have to pass Computer Literacy Test within their probationary period vide Order No.DPAR 59/SCR/2012 dated:07.07.12 w.e.f.22.03.12.

II. AGE LIMIT :

Eligible candidates in the Ex-Servicemen category can apply if sufficient number of eligible candidates in Ex-Servicemen are not available to the extent of percentage, the unfilled vacancy shall be filled up by such candidate belonging to same category respectively.
IV. METHOD OF RECRUITMENT :
The Selection of Candidates shall be made in accordance with the provisions contemplated in the Karnataka Sub-Ordinate Courts (Ministerial and other Posts) (Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules 2007.
The Test will be conducted for the post of Stenographers. The candidates must have to appear before the District and Sessions Judge in the premises of District Court, Chickballapur at their own costs.
V. The Qualifying test for selection of the Stenographer.
1) A dictation at the rate of 120 words per minute shall be given for a duration of about five minutes and candidate shall transcribe the notes within forty five minutes.
2) The number of candidates for the post of Stenographer to be included in the eligible list of candidates for interview shall be equivalent to 05 times to total number of vacancies notified.
VI. PROBATION :
