NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20 read with section 32 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act No. 2 of 1974), t he Lie ut en a nt -G o v er no r, P u d u ch er r y, h er eb y ap p o in ts Shri. T. Sudhakar, P.C.S. (Probationer), Officer on Special Duty to the District Election Officer, Puducherry as Executive Magistrate till the completion of elections for the whole of Puducherry District and empowers him to exercise all the powers of an Executive Magistrate under the said Code.

NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20 read
with section 32 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act No. 2 of 1974) and in
supersession of the notification issued in Home Department's G.O. Ms. No. 16,
dated 17-3-2016 and published in Part-I of the Extraordinary Gazette No. 30,
dated 23-3-2016, save as respect things done or omitted to be done before such
supersession, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby appoints the officers
mentioned in column (2) below as Special Executive Magistrate for the area
specified in column (3) of the Table below and empowers them to exercise all the
powers of the District Magistrate under the said Code.
