ORDER: (G.O. Ms. No. 3, Puducherry, dated 15th February 2017) Consequent to the deficit and uneven distribution of rainfal l during the North Eas t Monsoon and inadequate receipt of Cauvery Water, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry declares Puducherry and Karaikal regions of Union territory of Puducherry as drought hit area for the Fasli Year 1426.
