Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central Act No. 59 of 1988), Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby specifies that the offences punishable under sections mentioned in column (3) of the Table (A), in respect of all category of vehicles, may either before or after institution of prosecution be compounded by the officers as mentioned in Table.
