The 21st Law Commission of India has examined the subject on ‘Uniform Civil Code’ and issued the consultation paper on “Reforms of Family Law” on 31-08-2018 which is made available in the Law Department’s website at https://law.py.gov.in/. Presently, the 22nd Law Commission has taken up the matter for consideration and have solicited views and ideas of the stakeholders on it.
