Of late, it is noted that the demand of organs such as kidney, liver, heart, lungs, etc., is soaring due to the increasing prevalence of diseases like failure of organs of humans. However, the unavailability of requisite organs for transplantation to meet the existing demand has resulted in major organ shortage crisis and the number of patients on the waiting list is increasing day by day.
