Whereas, there are four separate categories for the issue of a ‘Fire No Objection Certificate (NOC)’ by the Fire Services Department, Government of Puducherry presently. First, Fire NOC is requested by the Puducherry Planning Authority (PPA) before giving Building Plan Approval to any applicant. Second, after completion of the approved building, Fire NOC from the Fire Services Department is again required for obtaining the occupancy certificate from the PPA.
