GOVERNMENT OF PUNJAB DEPARTMENT OF HOME AFFAIRS (HOME-VI BRANCH) NOTIFICATION The 17th August, 2026
No.S.O.39/C.A.46/2023/S.2/2026.- In pursuance of the provisions of clause (u) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 (Central Act No. 46 of 2023), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to declare a new Police Post Chotian under the jurisdiction of the Police Station Lehra, District Sangrur, Punjab, and is further pleased to direct the transfer of local area specified under column 2 of the Schedule given below, from the local area of the Police Station specified under column 3, to the local area of the Police Post specified under column 4 of the said Schedule, with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, namely:-
