An order has been issued to divide and restructure the Rishivanthiyam Panchayat Union in Kallakurichi District and form a new Panchayat Union called Vanapuram Panchayat Union. The final order and notification are hereby issued under Section 15, Sub-sections (3) and (4) of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994 (Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act 21/1994).
