TELANGANA TREASURY AND ACCOUNTS (SUBORDINATE) SERVICE (AMENDMENT) RULES, 2022.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India and all other powers hereunto enabling, the Governor of Telangana hereby makes the following amendment to the Telangana Treasury and Accounts Subordinate Service Rules, 2010.

RULES

1. Short Title:

These Rules may be Called as 'The Telangana Treasury and Accounts Subordinate Service (Amendment) Rules, 2022'.

2. Amendment to Rule 2, 'Constitution' :

The existing Rule 2 shall be substituted with the following:

The service shall consist of the following categories of posts, namely;

Branch-I: Subordinate Staff in the office of the Director of Treasuries and Accounts, Accounts Branches in various Heads of Departments and Accounts Training Wing, Dr. Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Institute, Telangana, Hydarabad.

Category (1) : Senior Accountant.

Category-(2) : Junior Accountant.

Branch-II: Subordinate Staff in the offices of the District Treasuries, Divisional Sub Treasuries and Sub Treasuries in the State, Pension Payment Office, Assistant Pension Payment Offices and Compilation Branch.

Category-1: Senior Accountant including Lady Commissioner in the Pension Payment Office.

Category-2: Junior Accountant (Local cadre/PPO/CB)

3. Amendment to Rule 3, 'Method of Appointment and Appointing Authority'.

The existing Rule 3 shall be substituted with the following:

The Method of appointment and appointing authority shall be as specified in column (2) and (3) against each category in column (1) of the table below:
